Agreed - Clyne and Milner really impressed too. Even Wiltshire.

A rare good performance from England - seems those saying Scotland would want it more were wrong, England seemed to play with a drive and passion they've never shown under Woy so far. Played some very good football at times, the third goal was a superb bit of play. Definitely deserved to win.

Yes I did suggest the other day that I wouldn't have Rooney in my squad, but that was solely because he wasn't putting in any performances like the one he had out there tonight. Was MotM. Was nice to see Wilshere play to his potential for once too. As I mentioned previously, Clyne has finally shown we have a good player at RB. Chamberlain proved why he should be starting too.

Still some negatives - Downing was non-existent, why isn't Barkley getting any game time whatsoever when Smalling is? Same can be said for Berahino - why bring on Lambert when he's on the bench? Scotland's goal too - very poor defending from England.

First international I think i've enjoyed under Woy. Still want rid of him though.

Robertson finishes like a striker. I thought the same when I saw the clip of his goal at Stuttgart in pre-season. He's nowhere near as bad defensively as some people make out. An all-round top player. I'd try and fit him and Brady in together. **** 3-5-2 when we've got no strikers.

For anyone who hasn't seen Brady's first goal:

    That assist is cracking.

Delighted to have been proved embarrassingly wrong <doh>

Outstanding performance. Anyone who doubts the importance of Rooney needs to give their head a good shake.

Very perceptive Quill! Thought he had a very good game tonight. Looked more composed than Jagielka when he came on. Maybe there is a decent player in there, after all.

Hmmm, funny old game, isn't it? <laugh>

Thought Robbie played a blinder. (although he did leave the back door open for the first) and Clyne was excellent, but Rooney, really, what was he doing there, Quill? <whistle>

Okay, peace now - except why, Quill, does your summary post read as if you are Scottish? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Well obviously. You don't keep getting picked by professional managers, including arguably (some say) the best ever, if you haven't got something about you.

It's not a matter you're allowed an opinion on anyway.
