As alot of people (myself included) use 606, and now seemingly here, for... How to put it... Discreet work-time postings, i think it would be a good idea to disable Avatars. I know that alot of people wont really like this, it just makes the discrete part of it alot harder if you have a line on your screen filled with random club badges and random cartoon's! It wont just be me, and this will decide if people use this forum of not. One of the best things about 606 was that it was discrete.
I know you can disable your own, but I'm not sure if you can disable everyone's. A problem for Super Maltese Mick. Or Bollo
Don't worry mate. A solution is a solution Just to confirm. You can change the settings yourself to ottit avatars and signatures under: settings (top right corner), forum settings (bottom left collumn), untick show signatures and show avatars (scroll down to near bottom of page)
To put smileys into your post, click on the 'go advanced' button instead of 'post quickly' one. Some are like 606 smileys, like < ok > < doh>
I'll maybe make a big link to that option at the top of the page, because there will be many like you.
A generic help thread with some basic things in it might be a good help. Plus room to ask questions too.
