First time I have managed to watch Wycombe for ages..thankfully!! Absolutely no quality whatsoever. Ainsworth is right to want to get to 53 odd points as soon as possible.
Can't watch any more of this. Losing most 50/50s in the air, which I didn't expect, and very little football from Wycombe. Very disappointed with how they are playing. First time we've conceded more than 2 goals and it had to be on ****ing TV. Thank goodness my son is unable to watch; I've been praising our defence all season and then this. Jombati looks a class act.
I have not been so down for a long time. Not because we are losing/have lost but because I was expecting some decent football and I got kick and rush rubbish. Bitterly disappointed and have no right to be at the top of the table.
poorest performance ive seen from us this season (which admittedly isn't saying much, I think that's the 6th game ive managed to see) - defensivly shambles, we badly missed pierre. we missed scowen in the centre, and moving bloomfield to the left neutralised one of our most dangerous players in the first half. Ephraim looked good though, and with pierre and scowen back im confident we can bounce back next week. More importantly though I hope injurys to wood, McClure and most importantly mawson are not too bad
My worries about being without Pierre and Scowen were well and truly founded. If only that shot had gone in just before Burton's 3rd goal. What a good interview from Gazza. Best interview I've seen from a losing manager; very refreshing. Cheered me up a bit, strangely.
I was just glad i was drinking Thatchers Gold cider last night as it kind of numbed the pain. Looks like Ainsworth will have to pick himself against Cheltenham on saturday with all the injuries unless he can bring a loanee in if we can afford it.
Very disappointed with that last night - I hope, for the sake of the fans that go everyweek, that was an exception to how they have been playing this year. Far to many aimless balls just lumped forward, and nobody (in a Wycombe shirt at least) was prepared to put their foot on the ball. Difficult to judge on one game but didnt think much to Ingram in particular. I know he is highly rated but thought he should have commanded the box better, seemed reluctant to come for crosses. Hopefully we can put this down to a bad day at the office but forget top 7 finish unless we are extremely lucky with injuries!
I haven't summoned up the will power to watch the game yet on TV it wasn't the best of signals on my phone with its 5 inch screen but even I could tell we missed the suspended players Pierre in particular as Rowe is no centre back we should have got one in on loan as I suspect Mawson will be out Saturday Rowe would have done a good job as a holding midfielder allowing Murphy to go forward I just hope we turn up on Saturday as I will be at that one
