Tonight the TV camera's roll into Adams Park for the 3rd placed Chairboys home game against the 6th placed Brewers and football fans will be glued to their TV screens up and down the country. The Chairboys will be looking to regain top spot having been knocked off on Saturday by the Hatters and the Shrews but will have to do so without the suspended duo of Josh and Aaron Pierre with Danny Rowe and Paris or Max their likely replacements Mat McClure or Hogan Ephraim could partner Paul Hayes up front and the likelihood of Gaz having to name himself on the bench to make up the numbers. The Brewers have former Chairboy Stewart Beavon up front so our defenders need to be on their toes also John Mousinho will be hoping to return from injury. This is the first time in nearly three years that the Chairboys have graced live TV and I expect just as tight game as in November 2011 against the Gills and with the arrival of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as the Brewers new manager grabbing the limelight Sky have picked a top attraction. I can't make this one or even watch it live on TV due to bloody work but I expect the lads to do the business and return us to the top of the table
Looking forward to seeing the blues in action on TV .The two Huddersfield aniolations still give me nightmares so a nice couple of early goals should do the trick to settle the nerves
looking forward to actually watching this one, should be a tight game! expecting rowe to come in for pierre and either PCH or Ephraim to replace scowen, with bloomfield moving more centrally. What will be interesting is to see if gaz sticks with McClure upfront, or brings in craig or Ephraim next to hayes
I'll be warching on tv tonight. Like you Rocky those Huddersfield games still haunt me. After his showing at Barnet i'd give McClure another chance partnering Hayes please not Craig! Think we'll win this even with 2 enforced changes and we'll be back on top come full time.
I'm worried that Pierre and Scowen aren't playing, more so Pierre. Pierre seems a key defender and Scowen seems to be a very hard worker this season. I was really looking forward to this game with a full strength team, especially with Beaver back here. I hope we can keep their forwards quiet and no nerves set in under the lights..
The club are going all out to bring in new supporters season ticket holders can bring a guest for £5, while all under 19s and staff and students at Bucks New Uni are invited free of charge. Fans with season tickets at Brentford the franchise, QPR and Wasps are also welcome to attend the game at no cost, as the home side look to showcase their talents on and off the field to a new, local audience. Hope we put on a performanceand get the result that will take us back to the top The Panache Stand is open to home fans, with Brewers supporters being accommodated in Blocks H&V of the Beechdean Stand.
That's what I was hoping. Who do we have on the subs bench? I don't like this suspension lark based on yellow cards - well not tonight anyway.
continuing our poor record on sky then! for me we are losing too many of the key battles in midfield, might be worth taking off kretch to bring on PCH or craig, allowing bloomfield (whos having an excellent game) to move central sooner or later. Failing that it might even be worth bringing on lewis just to make us that more physical in the centre of the park
