Not to Burnley or anyone else ! I'd rather we kept him, along with AB, he's ideal back up for Chester,Davies and Dawson. So if he's happy to be a back up player here, then everybody's happy. Except some of you will disagree obviously... https://www.clubcall.com/burnley/clarets-on-red-alert-for-tigers-defender-1747729.html? There was some bollocks about us going back in for Austin as well, but that's not even worth discussing.
Just hope the Burnley rumour in for Macca is not true. He's improved enormously in the past three years and is the perfect back up for our three top CHs. Also wouldn't mind seeing him in CMF as our holding MF. He's terrific in the air, makes strong runs forward, and has become a good passer of through balls (which we lack). Players like Liam and Macca are the heart and soul of our team. Would hate to see him playing against us with Georgie Boy at the KC.
Brucie should be encouraging his lad to go instead of this constant trickle of better class defenders leaving - Hobbs. Faye and now maybe Macca - Faye said it was causing friction in the squad and I'm not surprised
We seem to get a lot of injuries in the back-3 CHs so he'd probably get a fair amount of starts and sub appearances. Like Liam he seems to love the club and is settled here. Can't see him going to Burnley with a good prospect of being back in the Championship next year.
I agree, Canuck - my question was part-rhetorical. We do need cover for all positions, as injuries/suspensions happen.
Are you ****ing pissed!!! Paul Mcshane in centre midfield as a holding midfield player!!!! That is without doubt the single most ridiculous thing I have ever read on this forum!!!! Idiot.
Sorry forgot to mention the bit about him being a good passer of through balls. Now that is the single most ridiculous thing I have ever read on this forum. You are pissed aren't you, you must be!! Idiot!
In the morning when you've sobered up you will read this thread and realise that I was right and that you are an idiot.
our central midfield has been almost non-existent for most of this season - he couldn't possibly be worse and personally I think he would add a bit of grit
