I was going to ask why they would have car keys when they live in the same cul-de-sac, but then I remembered that Milk lives in America.

Ummm... There's probably going to be an odd number of people playing if people show up... one of whom is gay

/ now it probably sounds worse.

Ahhh... I didn't know how the card got picked... makes sense! <ok> So basically the dealer picks! (from what I understand- most people don't both keeping score it's just for a laugh).

Exactly... the land where if they are going to two stores next door to each other in a shopping strip they'll park at one- go in... then move the car to the other store! <laugh>

I've only been to America (Ohio) once. The experience of driving across a carpark to get to a different shop was a novel one. They laughed when I mentioned about walking into town.

To be fair... It's not usually safe in the US to walk into town... or even to a grocery store. The streets are rarely designed with pedestrians in mind. Granted- the driving your 50ft to get a spot infront of a different store is plain laziness... but even though the grocery store is less than a mile from my house- I wouldn't walk there. Doing so would involve walking through rough un-easy long grass on a slope that is trying to make me fall into the road, right next to speeding cars (little margain) picking up ticks (lots of deer- and therefore lots of ticks that carry nasty diseases).

Cities here are designed for cars and not pedestrians.

Yeah, that came into it as well. Once I saw the route, I agreed with them. Didn't really fancy being run over.

  6. We could play a variation of that on here. Someone dish out the "white card" answers in a PM before asking the questions

Well, if Milk's got the pack...

That would presumably mean that we would need a poll for each question. Everyone loves a poll <ok>

Could be a bit slow unless you did them all in one go? One person be game master and give everyone the 10 questions and 10 different answers. Then they all pm the person back and put up a thread with the answers?

Had my solicitor on the line today <ok>

****ing nightmare day on the motorways, side I needed at a standstill due to some idiots in an accident so had a 2 hour delay getting home this evening. Then because I'd arranged a league squash match had about a 15 minute turnaround when I got through the door to get changed, eat something for the first time in six hours, get my gear together and get back out. We'd already missed our first slot but fortunately the guy I was playing had been called into a late meeting so had booked a later court. Got the game played in the end - won comfortably as I'm still stuck in the too low leagues for my ability - but could have done without the fecking stress today.

Going to buy a jetpack with my massive payout for whiplash and ptsd. <laugh> I like driving but I hate the stupid road network in this country. Normally after playing I'd jump on the M'way to get home but they'd closed the slip road I need so I had to go all around the houses. Nightmare. Again. <steam>

  18. Better come 4.45pm on Monday to Tuesday but **** on a Friday <laugh>

Because the mrs (nm) has just got back to work I've had to revert back to 8.30am to 4.30pm. I was doing 9am to 5pm whilst she was off, I know its only half an hour but it makes quite a difference to me <laugh>

I love it when I can do 8-4. **** getting up at half 6 but road is quieter easier to park and get to leave an hour early. Also it's a physiological thing that when its 12 in thinking only 5 hours to go rather than 5, ignoring I've already been there an extra hour.

Plus as its quiet at 8 don't have to work quite as hard <ok>
