It's not a fool-proof assumption that he is left handed... plenty of exceptions but the majority of people have the same dominant foot as is their dominant hand! Do you think you could be "naturally" left handed, but trained to by right-handed as a child? I think a lot of parents train their children to be right handed without even knowing it.
