I like him, Tom. He's quick on his feet and has a grasp of his subject. Here he is again ripping into the Common Agricultural Policy and how to better use Foreign Aid. So much sense that's worth 3 minutes of your time:

I'd love to see this guy PM one day.

dragon, people who tell it as it is and are honest, do not tend to do well in the UK.

instead what we get are slimy spin doctors like blair, clegg and cameron.

CAP is here to stay, the likes of france and italy are dependant on it for their existence. too many liberals are desperate to give our money away to african dictators, guess what, if you disagree with any of those two points the guardian will label you a racist / xenophobe. thats the point we've got to, if this chap hannan gets into UKIP, there will be a smear campaign as there has been against every UKIP MEP.

You're right of course, Swamp. Thing is he's not interested at the moment despite representing the same constituency as Farage (they are big mates apparently). But he must be a huge embarrassment to the pro-Europeans in the Tory party. Here's his stance on UKIP:

I've always found Hannan to be a plain speaking, intelligent and impressive politician - and I tend to loathe the breed as much as bankers and lawyers. Would that there were more like him.

Because some people can't be told, and do not want the apple cart upset!..................<ok>

Anyway Politics is just a scam.....you choose a side and argue for it. Meanwhile, those you are arguing for are laughing at you because there is no DIFFERENCE....they belong to the same team, it's an illusion to fool you into believing that you are making choices....you aren't. You are just another sheep, following along their direction as you think you are free. Get your head out of the left right garbage.....it's all made to corrupt you.................<laugh>

He's got a point <ok> Integrity's long gone from politics at the top level, where the power's wielded.

The more ukip members in the EU the better deal we can get. Pulling out will see ukip diminishing in a general election. We need people like them to fight in the EU parliament and if they do that then they will be a force to be reckoned with, As it stands they have no chance of replacing labour or the conservatives in government...

For those that support UKIP's anti-immigration stance, would you also be prepared to lose all our immigrant players?

Name all of our players who are immigrants. Name any player who has been purchased in the Premier League this season who is an immigrant.

Then when you do that, tell me how many of them are here illegally, and how many have come here to work. And also how many of them who had to get work permits to work here. Which is something UKIP intend on keeping going, but they only want skilled workers here, not every Tom Dick and Harry.

    Must try harder.

The UKIP phenomenon is an invention of the media who are scared of regulation from Brussels, they know they can behave as they like under Westminster rules.

Farage is a phoney and will say whatever he thinks will make him popular.

UKIP ignore the truth and play on people's fears.

UKIP policies (if they can be trusted to remain the same from one week to the next) would cripple the country financially, make the UK very unattractive to world trade that uses our appalling work practices to gain access to the European market.

UKIP are on the same page as some truly unpleasant European groups. It makes me laugh when Kippers start banging on about how 'we' (most would **** themselves if they came near conflict) two world wars to keep Britain British and then see their leader cosy up with people even Hitler would have considered a bit right wing.

A vote for UKIP is a vote for the 1950s and that was a truly rubbish decade.

UKIP policies will make small and medium sized businesses whence at the bureaucracy needed to trade overseas.

VOTE UKIP if you want failed conservatives running your live (not the country but your lives)

A vote for UKIP will see handguns made legal !!!! What a good idea.

Fargae is a coward as he showed when he came to Swansea but was a fraud to walk down Oxford steer because ether were two grannies and handful of students and two socialist workers protesting but bumbles on about tanks on lawns and peoples' army. Of course the latest is his American gun toting friend - 'vote for me or else ..'?

    View attachment 34189

You will pay insurance for anything beyond primary health care. (I'm not sure how rich you are but if you have spare cash invest in BUPA.)

The figures Farage trots out are mostly bogus - where are the 60 million eastern Europeans? There are barely 60,000,000 in the whole eastern region.

What about the benefit, including overall from financial gain, form people from the EU as a whole including Eastern Europeans?

Farage and his MPs / supporters are tory and wealthy and will get wealthier at our expense.

Kiss goodbye to equal pay and workers' rights - say hello to bankers & traders continuing to play roulette with county's wealth.

Kiss goodbye to Scotland and hello to Wales being a county of England.

Putting UKIP in the frame because 'the other lot are useless we may as well let them have a go' attitude is like asking a butcher to perform brain surgery.

I probably won't vote Farage as I am not a racist homophobic, misogynistic, little endgander , bigoted, racist, hypocrite who believes dad's army is a documentary.

Anyone not born in the UK or with a UK passport is an immigrant.

Immigrants aren't just the foreigners you don't know or approve of.

    Try harder

I know a little bit about politics having been involved for many years and it is a sham, If ever any of you have had any MP from any party canvassing for your vote on your door step you can bet that they will tell you what you want to hear and the minute they get your vote everything that has been said goes out the window as that MP will be whipped into line to follow the parties policies even if they told you the opposite at the door. It has always been that way and will stay that way because the two main parties want it that way. Until we get proportional representation we will always have a government in power who 2/3rds of the population never voted for. As for UKIP then they are on a roll but they are only telling you what you want to hear but they have no policies about the real issues in this county that are far more important than immigration and a vote for them will undoubtedly be a vote through the back door for one of the two main parties to get back into power with the favorites being Labour party. The way our system works there is no chance of anyone other than the two main parties to gain power even though most of the electorate never voted for them....Its a big sham...
