Bear in mind that it's an old generation core i5. Although the name is the same, that's got an Arrandale generation processor. There's been Sandybridge, Ivybridge and Haswell since then. That laptop is in no way comparable with a new laptop with a Haswell i5 in it.
Went for it marra, sent the link to a few pals that are clued up on that sort of thing and the all said for the money is a great deal, has everything i need and more, plus when streaming the lads away, i have bought a cable for £6 which will connect to my telly, happy days!
Now u tell me lol One did come back and say, take a look at this one : http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221517759010 Once you've purchased you're fooked arent you?
Surely the question is is it a good price? He said he only wants it to stream the matches and surf the net, a first Gen i5 will piss that.
I did just say to bear it in mind. I'm not saying it won't do the job, and it seems a decent spec for that price. I'm sure it will be fine.
Well as I work in IT I can safely say that turning it off and back on will fix it. Take it from an expert.....
****ing typical, engineer just been and fixed land line etc and my laptop is working again, anyone wanna buy a laptop?
Some of the hardware out there now is unbelievable init. I want a gaming laptop me. They can finally compete with the big desk top gaming units. If I had 300 to 500 quid spare I'd get my mate to knock me one together.
