Well, I don't feel as I can talk to my family about this kind of stuff, but have a friend who has recently taken an interest in giving me advice, so it's nice that someone IRL has taken an interest as I've never had that before. And I know I don't have one season to mate.... but because I have never met anyone with whom I have so much in common and get on so well with, I feel this is a one off opportunity. We weren't there, so can't judge how deplorably you behaved , but I wouldn't make too much of it. Definitely ask her out again soon...if she agrees it will show that she isn't making so much of it. My guess (as you like her so much) is that she is similar to you in many ways, so I am not that surprised she shied away...gently, gently.
Just got back in...having been soaked, not by the rain, but by morons going through massive puddles near pedestrians. I had to leap up a muddy bank several times, but finally had to walk through a tunnel where I had already seen pedestrians swamped over the tops of their heads. Interesting references to Fibonnaci sequences as well. The paradox is that Turing's personal life may well have been a lot happier if he had been born later, but unfortunately the Nazis may well have won the war if he hadn't lived when he did, so the enlightened times we currently enjoy may well not have come about. He really was that important, not only in breaking the Enigma code and shortening the war, but also of course in the development of computers, which have transformed life totally.

Oh, let him ask for advice, FLT. I think it's quite nice that PL trusts us to give him decent advice, and generally it has all been in the same direction. His asking shows a level of trust that is absent in a lot of situations. And, let's face it, we haven't abused that trust and we've been very light in our mickey taking, as far as I can see. On PL's side, he takes everything in good part, which is nice. If you want something to ponder, you might consider why we, on a Saints forum, get asked for advice, and the Pompey forum gets none of it.

If she friend zoned you because of that she probably didn't like you in that way or she is like you and over thinks everything. But I would go with the first bit I said.
