Herr Ubes and COL were rubbishing Mel "put them in the oven" Gibson's Scottish offering on here before.

They probably gobble up all the WW2 films like they're going out of fashion though :emoticon-0102-bigsm

We are all influenced by the entertainment served up to us and historical facts are often bent to suit

Last week my young assistant watched that film and loved it ... To him it's now the truth however he did claim he wants to become a Killer whale trainer having watched a programme about Killer Whales ... Couple that with his belief that Games of Thrones was also a true reflection of life it's easy to see how the Germans are made to look silly . I informed my youngster that dragons were not real and he needs to learn how to swim before he trains whales ... Both of these things were dismissed ... I look forward to finding out what television has done to him this weekend

Still mankind did land a spaceship onto a comet this week so it could come true ... I live in hope that later Mrs DT will train me in our bath tub before raping me with her dragon pets

Fury best film I seen in a few years. Adel best player we have had in decades. Yet Queenes seem to enjoy writing him off forever because maybe he's done his groin.:emoticon-0113-sleep

Adel, the player with the most potential, we have had for a very long time.

Proportion - fulfilled and unfulfilled potential ????

We will all disagree on this one, but at age 25, and really only 1 very good season (and to make the best player we have had in decades) - I would say closer to 85% unfulfilled potential

    Queens......
I think others are reacting to the way you wrote him off completely just because he had got injured.

A little over the top imo.

Good news. If it's only a groin strain, must mean he's only 3 pounds overweight now.

Have only just seen this thread but just wanted to say that I've always thought of Adel as a career ****a and would ask the management to present him with a 'Lifetime Achievement Award'.

Sorry uif thatshow you read it Col.
i was making the point that he is injured AGAIN mate

For some reason or other he's been not fit/ injured all season. Its mid Nov mate. When will he ever be fit to play for us?

Even the most die hard fans have had enough now. the reports were that he was training well only 3 weeks ago

Therefore thier must be something wrong with either him or our training system.

Which ever it is, it just aint happening for him is it?

Would love some more info on the problem, but quite frankly Im scared to ask on here anymore as people lose thier f-ing heads. <ok>

I dont like saying it but if we can continue with the passion, intensity, desire and team spirit of the last few games then we dont need him.........

Quite right the team is playing well but IMO I would have him in the team because of the talent he has and I believe he would make us stronger
But he had to give up the doughnuts and lose that three stone first
stay injury free and then get picked by a manager who doesn't like him

I think he is a brilliant footballer

Could be reading too much into it but I get the impression Redknapp's still not impressed with Taarabt but he's just not allowed say it anymore :)
