Think this is slightly optimistic, but interesting to see an independent prediction of where we will end up next season.... http://life.hereisthecity.com/1970/...bruce-wont-need-to-make-excuses-in-2011-2012/
6th - well, we can dream. Seriously, though, if we can avoid the usual collapse, we may have a chance. We won't dent the top 5, but we can challenge to be the best of the rest. SAFC - cream of the crap?
Devestated if thats all were aiming for, bloody hell am expecting last home game of the season to be a title decider
It's the outside perception of what we are doing that I found interesting. People obviuosly think we have a good team and have made some astute signings so far
6th! With a squad with little creativity and no main goal scorer-I don't think so although I would love it if it happened. Don't get me wrong I'm pleased with the signings made so far in as much as they are replacing loanees who have left and the squad is shaping up to have a more solid look to it but as yet I don't see anything that suggests we will have anything in the locker to take us to 6th. Of course the transfer window has a long time to go so over to you SB, NQ and ES.
I think whats even more interesting than Sunderland in 6th place is where they have Aston Villa (17th). Judas wont like that
I was just wondering this morning what 'critics' would make of our team at the end of the window, but I didn't expect this with the signings so far. Fighting with Everton & Fulham for 7th/8th would do me. I can't see us ousting Spurs though.
I think you all under-estimate Bruce. I reckon with the right marquee signing we could make top 4. Or it could be the bottle of fine Bordeaux I am drinking is making me dream a little. Lol Bart. PS - hope the weather was as good for you today as it was on the tip of Fife. Simple beautiful - you should visit.
