Never had that problem tbh, I just go with what I think is right. If I make a mistake I just use sales talk to say sorry.
Just back in from a wet Roots Hall. Enjoyable first game working for them, and the good news is I've been told whenever I want to go to Roots Hall I don't have to pay, just drop the press officer a text and I can get into the press box instead.
I went to see "The Imitation Game" earlier, what a fantastic film! Benedict Cumberbatch is absolutely brilliant as Alan Turing who was responsible for breaking the a Enigma codes during the Second World War. I urge you all to go and see it.
I read an interview with Cumberbatch in the Big Issue recently and he is even now really angry about the way Turing was treated. It is estimated the war would have lasted at least two years longer and cost 14 million more lives if Turing's team hadn't succeeded, and for his trouble he was chemically castrated for being a homosexual which led to his suicide at the age of 41. Thank God we live in more enlightened times these days.
They reckon there was some doubt about the suicide verdict as he was working with cyanide at the time. Whatever happened, imagine what a genius like Turing could have achieved if he hadn't died so young.
Well.... that was a god day out. Just got in from a day's wine tasting in Birmingham. Excellent stuff. 10-30-4pm
