We all know how good Blackpool played last season and with most of their players still on board what will thet do against City? I think they will beat city 3-2, They have good goal scorers but a not so good defence, so City wll have all on to contain them.
Please say you're not predicting a game a month before it happens when the transfer window is still open and pre season games are yet to be played? :|
Charlie Stokell sounds like Percy Mark II. Are you by any chance related? As for the match, Blackpool look like they're star players aren't staying put. DJ Campbell is off and so is Charlie Adam.
Relegated teams from the prem traditionally start off badly as it takes them a few games to shake off them drop down blues so early will be a good time to play them. No telling who they will still have or who we might have by August 5th but I can't wait for the season to start up again thats for sure.
Charle Stokell sound like he can't wait for the season to get started. Fair play to him for that. Should I live to the age he has I would hope to feel the same about the mighty tigers. The bookmakers have prices up for the opening match so why not discuss it. I expect Hull City will win this match. I feel this way everytime the mighty tigers kick off. Keep on Keeping the faith Mr Stokell.
Thank s for that. I am a Tiger fan thro' and thro' I always want them to win ,but Blackpool were good last season and I was sorry to see them relegated. If they start off as they did before, we will have all on to hold them. Yes the transfer window is wide open but I can't see our inputs matching some of the other teams inc Blackpool. I really hope I am wrong...
They're not going to be the same team without Campbell & Adam, if Adam is still a Tangerine then he'll be the best player in this division but I can't see it. He's PL class and deserves to be there. Last season Bellamy, Routledge & Bullard were PL class, so was Taarabt (on the technical side, not mentally) We're at home, City beat promoted Swansea 2-0 on the opening day last season & Fulham 2-1 on opening day in 2008-9, so we have a good recent track record. I'm not sure about the stats regarding relegated teams taking time to get going, but Holloway is a positive manager and he'll have them attacking again for sure. I'm not predicting yet, not until the transfers are all done.
It's impossible really to predict how this game will go, we're still a month away from said match kicking off and a lot can happen between then and now. If you made this thread a month today you'd get a lot more accurate responses, but with a lot likely to change in the next 33 days no one can accurately predict how this match will go when some of the team who could play in this game aren't here yet. Charlie Stokell, cheer up a bit mate mate!
Well I'm going to be there and Hull City have won every match I have been to at the KC also I have'nt seen city lose a home match I have been to since the 80's. So on that record I think a win for the tigers is on the cards. Of course the only match I have ever been to at the KC was Swansea last season but hey what I wrote is true
