Interview on the BBC site with Ighalo. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29896078 Jakubiak is back at the Vic after his loan spell at Oxford was cut short. Maybe we could send him to a team in form rather than one who is at the bottom and probably cannot rely on youngsters. They seem a bit disappointed. http://yellowsforum.co.uk/thread/19373/jakubiak
Kind of cute he sends some of his salary every month to his mum. i wish she'd ask him to stop waving imaginary cards to the ref though! He has improved a lot recently, performance wise, it seems!
Mensah gone out on loan to Barnet. They are flying high so hopefully he will get some games in a winning team.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11585233.Mensah_joins_Barnet_on_loan/ Wonder if he'll like the slopey pitch!

Gianni Munari and Sebastien Bassong’s injuries will be assessed prior to Watford’s trip to Ipswich Town on Saturday.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9560246? Anyone know anything about this kid? Hadn't heard of him until I read this...
Never heard of him - I do watch the Under 18s sometimes so maybe I'll find out more when I next go. Hopefully does stick around and plays for us because we have lost a couple of decent youngsters in recent months and Ogi Ogi almost left too...
Could he be another we send over to Udinese to 'protect' him from the vultures? (like the Armenakas kid) If they said no to the Milan and Barca academies, hopefully they will resist these offers and stick with us until he at least breaks through!
I see Mensah scored for Barnet last night in a 2-3 defeat. The youngster above sounds like an anagram of Zinedane Zidane.
Seems as if 700 season ticket holders have already expressed a wish to transfer to the new stand, and 1000 half season tickets will soon be available to include seats on that side of the ground. At least it will not look as if it is a white elephant.
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...is_necessary__there_are_many_things_to_learn/ Not sure if the working holiday quote was the right one to make, but more logic from the Joka!
Worrying, very worrying. Why is it that almost every manager/coach that we have appointed since GT "needs to learn about the Championship". Are we that much of a managerial academy? What if we had appointed an experience manager or two in that time?
We did..for 8 days. McKinlay would have been ideal from an experienced point of view.. And Garcia of course.. My worry is that he has moaned about teams playing a different way which will only play into their hands.
Glenn has written about the rise of Anya in the Mail. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-shelves-scoring-against-world-champions.html
Have been trying to respond to the guy who commented that he is wasting his time at Watford, but the accursed site won't accept my posting. Damned moderators..
Well he sort of is by not playing! Is a strange one isn't it - just down to the different formations/tactics?
