Posts on another board suggest that Craig and Man city has agreed a loan, but to which club? I believe the malaysians have pushed the boat out on this one, I really would be surprised if they have let him slip away. This should break by tomorrow and is being lauded on the AAMB now, although a lot on there think its likely Celtic have got the move on us, I don't. We wait and see.
IF Man City have agreed to let him out on loan again I would be very surprised indeed if it is not to us. They wouldn't loan him to another premiership team I don't think, Celtic are probably our main rivals but Craig wants to be here and that should be the telling factor. Lets hope this rumour is spot on and we see him back sooner rather than later.
99 You might have got away with something half plausible on another player, but we know too much on this one. Some say you are Daiswan in disguise, but he wouldn't have made such a stupid comment.
Started to hear not so good news on this one, seems we might not have our boy home till next year. I will still be shocked that the malaysians haven't stepped up for this, storms a'gathering
Why storms gathering? If we haven't got him we haven't got him. Who is going to create the storm ,and what notice will the owners take? they will have made there valuation acted on it, and if its not successful they'll let it go. They're businessmen.
@ Xnaggle Sorry mate, it's was a bit of cryptic relating to the AAMB, seems a few are upset over there over a certain carl curtis post. I'm not holding my breath on Bellamy joining us, he gave us a great season and has to look out for himself first. But I say again, I would be surprised the Malaysians would let this one slip by, so untill I hear for sure differently I am going to hope he will be a bluebird this season.
I still think wherever Raymond Verheijen ends up going will have a huge influence upon where Craig goes.
nope west ham still favorites with celtic coming up the rear that may snatch him from them, i think its up to bells on whether he thinks he can hack it playing for a big team or will he join a small club like cardiff where he dont have to exert to much effort....what do you think...
Bellamy will NOT go to West Ham...................... a small club like Cardiff lol what does that make swansea?
"what does that make swansea?" Swansea are a club hoping to get 10 points.....thats what they are! Will you be able to live that down SicklySwan...the lowest points ever...or do you still believe you will get 50+ points with all the stellar signings you are making?
little brother syndrome When a person(doesn't always have to be a sibling) idolizes something you have done and decides to follow in your footsteps, ultimately copying exactly what you have done; complete and juvenile lack of originality. When one person feels they have a rivalry with another far superior person. The superior person usually doesn't know about it or feel that the little brother is any kind of a threat. The little brother usually puts forth maximum effort in meaningless situations in order to get the feeling of a win over his rival. A person that is really good at being a goof ball and breaking the tension of situations through comedy and playful antics. But at the same time, has a hard time ever taking things seriously or taking responsibility for things, expecting or assuming others will simply come to help out when needed. This is often how little brothers can behave, hence the term. Following around friends like a clingy younger brother. One with said syndrome cannot make decisions for or take actions by himself. Usually acts like a fake-ass punk and/or lil bitch.
Would he be any good for you anyway, to be honest what did he achieve for you last season ? Why would you be interested in taking injury prone players anyway.
scum: this is the classic head v heart scenario. The head says I can't see us getting CB back this season as I don't think we could compete with eg Celtic when it comes to the financial side of signing or loaning him from Man City. If, as said above, the Malaysians are serious about bringing Bellers back then they will do what they can (and you wouldn't see many bluebirds complaining) but I'm sure even they have a cut off point. The heart, however, says there is more to Bellamy being here than just the playing side of things. No dressing room/training ground would turn away the experience, passion or commitment he undoubtedly brings to CCFC and with new, young and more importantly, signed not loaned players, that can only rub of onto them, at least in theory. It's true we didn't achieve anything last season but no single player is going to carry a club for a whole season. As for being injury prone, obviously thats well documented but personally, I'd rather see any player (not specifically Bellamy) play eg 30 games a season giving 100% every game than someone who would play 46 giving maybe 60/70% knowing his bank balance wont be any worse off. Like I said, it's a heart v head scenario. I hope we can get him back but we will see.
The Rag Mag (Echo) main report suggesting Celtic have him, and Bellers saying 'He will not go to another championship club' of the whole story the only thing that is correct in my book is Craig's saying he will not go to another championship club. I think he is caught between a rock and a hard place at the moment, apparantly Celtic are happy for him to train with us etc etc. Personally i believe we will probably put a bid in for Bellers and then negotiate wages and more importantly bonuses payable should we be lucky enough to be promoted. I see Bellamy at Cardiff this season, for what thats worth, many more twists and turns await us in the next few weeks. Bellers and Earnie to sign on the same day (probably next mondays Echo headlines)
I read that ronnie and the more detailed version from CC on AAMB (which is basically a Bluebird WoL) The fitness training I suppose is doable with CCFC but I would have thought he should be at Celtic with regards set piece moves etc. Just doesn't make any sense to me but hey, what do I know?
I can't see how this is possibly going to work. It's totally unprofessional but I'm sure Terry Phillips would be happy with this so he can carry on his Anti-Cardiff agenda.
I would have thought(hoped) that Celtic is a step too far away at this stage of his career, and I can't really see the training down here etc working out. Theres a deal to be done here I am sure, it all depends on how the Malaysians view it though.
Easy one for Craig and Man City really - he just foregoes about 40% of his Man City contract salary and comes to Cardiff?
