OK follow my thinking, I am desperate.

I've had this cold for..... well, since September.

I thought "alcohol kills germs and bacteria", so I downed half a bottle of Captain Morgans, spiced rum.
I am due to go to TX in about 3 weeks, and I want a clear head by then.
ALL I have for my troubles are a pounding head and 2 blocked nostrils.
Think my sneezing is keeping the neighbours awake.
I awoke at 4am for some unfathomable reason.

has anyone got any home remedies? I will try anything!

rum and a cold? yeah? NO!

alcohol lowers the resistance to all sorts of bugs , as it lowers the bodys immune system for a while

Given that you've had the symptoms for so long it's unlikely to be the common cold.

    Could be allergic rhinitis.

    Try beconase.

    Not necessarily Carminio.

I had Ebola the other week and I'm still here. I beat it.

Place the mouth of the barrel into the soft tissue triangle below the jaw, think of the **** you've posted lately and squeeze . . .

. . . . Or just stop posting the bad stuff and your reward will be a clearer head. <cheers>

Patty ..... if you are going to TX in 3 weeks won't the dry air and warmth clear it up?

I'd rather not take that chance, plus, it does snow in TX this time of year (doesn't lay, but they get about an inch worth)

Could be sinusitis and maybe a bit of hayfever. Try some antihistamines or over the counter meds for it but you may need some antibiotics.
