  1. I thought the hack was funny too.

Whoever posted each paper, it seemed to favour the other team <laugh> Not Danilo's fault, he reported what he was told first time. Second one was hacked (but said Milk was innocent ) and third was very good IMO but for some reason no one wanted to believe it <laugh>

There were enough that didn't believe you but we were split between lynching you immediately and leaving you until day two to see if you survived after talking.

How about you start with 10k for example.

Cost you 3k to buy a recruit, 3k to buy a kill, 1k to hack the newspaper (the newspaper can be run by the person running the game) so town wont know if its hacked or not?

Mafia can then decide what they feel is more important at the time and use money to do each action. Can maybe then earn more money by being set tasks (for example get play A to vote for player B)

Honestly lads there's always going to be luck and twists both sides in this.

The people who remain relentlessly logical make the difference

I also agree with brb.... Sorry to all reading dead persons thread but you lot not coming out and iding your roles when basically you all knew....

Well... Had afc played more logical and helpful there was a point today that the town were going to lose.

It could have been 3/4 right now with rhc being extra vote and in the end the weekend could've gone mafias way

I thought yesterday danilo only had to tell all and it was game over too

For whomever running next game any and all rules made are fine. The creativity in last two games has been awesome so I say go try stuff out

However I think I shall not participate next time as intimated on thread

The fact was I said milk was innocent but felt I was sure to die but had to keep something in reserve

Ibwt wrote the hack and used that info

With false data for different reasons each day someone should've simply locked up bod at minimum cos if it was right what harm

So you want a "bank manager" rol who holds the money.

Can sell bullets to manager but be robbed by them and lose all hi money <laugh>

Defeinitely loads of random stuff could throw in to make it fun but prob be quite complicated.

I think being able to buy the actions is a good idea though, makes you think about it more.

Yeah I was calm and confident that after today we had basically won the game. Then next thing I know I'm in the lead on votes and have just over an hour to come up with something to save the day! And milk was having none of it!

The creativity was great for this game, very pleased with Astro as the game master, fantastic twists and turns and this was a much more chilled game than the last, good light hearted laugh :)

  10. Bod...

I had my suspicions on you from day one too; aka agreeing with most things I said but then voting for me. I said you were the least suspicious of the four I list at one point but also said I was watching a link between two. You were one of the two and my number one target <laugh>

Afc remember last game when you think things are obvious.... Cos you knew brb was not mafia it was obvious to you

To the rest of us he was nuts so he voted himself into mix, same as ibwt

Thing is he was right if by luck or whatever

We could have done. But you had already told everyone the Mafia knew who the freemasons were and could read their board so I would have had no chance of remaining hidden any later than Bodanki.

I know the Mafia were essentially defeated, and were very unlikely to win, but you didn't really need to give every Mafia secret away just to try and score points against Milk. It would have been a bit of fun for me to try and bluff my way out of suspicion on the freemason board, if Milk didn't think I'd been identified.

Still, I didn't actually get a PM saying I'd been recruited, so I'm still in the town, and therefore win! :D

Sounds a bit overpowered and unbalanced tbh. Unless the journo gets the identity of the Mafia who tried to bribe him, and even then it would be an easy choice for the Mafia.

If we're to implement this, maybe we allow the Mafia hacker to try and hack the journo's e-mail account, to send them a recruitment offer. This power must be used instead of hacking the headline, and also there is a chance the investigator will find out about it and thus be able reveal the journalist has been recruited.

Maybe for the next game the host could reserve the second post in the thread for a live voting table? Any LFC mod or supermod can then edit this post to update the table on a daily basis. Would save having multiple tables floating around, and avoid confusion near the vote time.

  15. I didn't bottle it (assuming you mean day one here), I genuinely though Valley needed to be in the vote for his crazy move.

Yep, it's funny being on the different sides of the game. I've been a townie, Freemason and mafia assassin now and it's a totally different game experience as each one. Watching people make mistakes and thinking you know it all before realising your ****ed, it's all good fun lol

I want to give swarbs the award for most impressive player

    Mafia certainly were

Most off putting post goes to danilo for me. I never thought it was him when alive. His put on of rhc was perfect as it put 2 laters between him and role. I thought it was billy or gerrez never him

  19. Game 1: Regular townie (killed by lynch <yikes>)
    Game 2: Doctor
    Game 3: KGB Recruiter
Game 4: Regular townie (killed by vigilante after a failed suicide)

Losing side in game one, winning side four the other three <diva>

Definitely agree with this - the hidden powers idea was great as we had to work out what the hidden powers were, and then try to work out when and how they'd been used!

I really didn't expect the Mafia to have the power to hack the freemason board, but it must have been a disappointment when they did - the first two days are essentially me just talking to myself, and then me and Greez taking the piss after he was dead <laugh>
