Ah, there you go. What I actually meant to say was "One is never alone with a rubber duck", quoting the captain of the Golgafrincham B Ark in The Hitchikers' Guide to the Galaxy.
Ah..! Had a sense of HHGTTG there, but I could place it. So I went for the old ciggie advert in my reply.
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/video/worlds-tallest-man-meets-shortest-140818747.html World's tallest man meets the world's shortest. Like a Great Dane and a Chihuahua...except sadly, neither are healthy.
Blimey Chilcs/TSS and t'other supporters - you are REALLY in for a treat with the new Fable song... Just sent it to a bunch in the States - they came straight back with "this is a work of genius".
Haha, nowhere near that point just yet I'm afraid. Beginning December at the earliest (unless you hear it on an ad before that).
Joke of the day on Sickipedia: "So yes", I said demonstrating to the chinaman, "this shirt was worn and given to me by the current polish international goalkeeper." "That is Artur Boruc's," he replied. "No, it's ****ing true!", I yelled. Courtesy of Sickipedia.org: http://www.sickipedia.org/racism/ch...the-chinaman-this-shirt-1603673#ixzz3Iy2O568W
Hmm, it's funny, but it doesn't quite work, does it. Surely it should be: "So yeah", said the Chinese man, "dis shir' wa' worn and given to me by de cullent porish intelnationeral goorkeepa." "That is Artur Boruc's..? I replied. "It's ****ing tlue!", he yelled. I think it works better that way around.
i like how the chinese man switches from being unable to pronounce R to being unable to pronounce L, then back again. full marks.
Well, the stereotypical comedy chinese man certainly knows how to pronounce the Rs and Ls. They are just swapped in certain words for comedic effect.
So, anyway. Why the sudden lack of capitals everywhere at the start of sentences...? You used to be quite diligent with all that stuff. Not street enough..?
Just done a quick search on my posting history and I think you're mistaking me for someone else. I'm wildly erratic with caps. I can tell you one thing I notice with this post. I'm more apt to press shift at the start of a sentence if the letter is on the right side of the keyboard.
I think Sotonist has been on the sauce today. He sometimes posts legibly, then not. And not a capital letter in sight, so it's sometimes difficult to know whether he's started a new sentence or not. He's not getting my observations about his posts, so I can only assume he's had a few, or he's under the influence of certain substances..!
