I agree, if we are to use our special actions it's very important we use them on either non-role townies or mafia.

I think we should reveal our roles, especially the masons. Just remember the 3rd mason could be mafia and is not necessarily innocent.

I vote AFC for now to get the ball rolling.

AFC I would like to remind you that your vote on Nozzer is kinda wasted. It is possible Nozzer is Mafia- he could be the Hacker. However, to win the game we need to take out the assassin. We know that Nozzer is not the assassin because he was arrested last night and an assassination occurred.

Voting for Nozzer isn't going to help the town today.

I really want us to reveal our roles, but it's not worth it if a few guys are not online, so we out most of the people but not everyone. I realise that the mafia may well be quiet by design, so they may just play the "Oops I couldn't log in" card.

Let's hold off until later this evening, maybe 7pm, and then see who is online. I won't be online too much but you know my role, so if everyone is online try push for it.

I'm guessing the mafia will try avoid this happening, although it makes them suspicious as well, so let's see.

A comment for the journo, you know who we are targeting in the lynch tonight, investigate someone else that you think is likely, but not one of the main culprits that we're targeting. We're going to treat your paper with suspicion so try answer some of our many questions regarding hacking and the previous versions.

 

The only other thing that concerns me is this 1:0 2:1 bollocks in the last article.

Since I know I am not the hacker, I can only assume that article was hacked, which makes that a mafia code.
What if AFC or Danilo reveal the answer to it come countdown time?
Do we ignore it?

I personally think we should, because I dont trust that paper one iota.

Yeah I think we stick with our plan regardless, unless we all reveal our roles and then make a call on who to lynch. I wouldn't change our lynch vote based on the journo coming out of the closet as we suspect a mafia hack anyway.

Once we know the identity of the hacker, we can make a call either way on the guilt/innocence of Bodanki, Swarbs and Nozzer, partly at least. For example, Swarbs being innocent one night does not mean absolute innocence...

 

Obviously you wouldn't. You've just been named a mafia hacker. And if the hacker was in effect the second night it would explain why you got revealed.

Ultimately there will be two claimants to journalist. At that point one will reveal what the **** those numbers mean. Hopefully they haven't chosen anything stupid that the other person can guess.

And in the end we will have to decide whether or not we believe the second or third nights papers were hacked based on known fact.

It will be interesting.

 

If they claim they have a role there are two possible scenarios:
1) They really have that role.
2) They are Mafia.

It's not vital we kill the Mafia tonight... if they claim they have a role- don't kill them and get to work figuring out if they really do or not. They can't bluff having a role for more than a day or so before it becomes obvious they don't have that role. Them coming out and pretending to be role could help us.

Mafioso comes out and says he is the journalist for example- could be disproved by paper next day.
Mafioso comes out and says he is Freemason - could be disproved by two real freemasons announcing themselves.


It's too early in the game for Mafia to bluff being roles- town has too much of an advantage. We killed half their number (including their recruiter) already.

 

Looks like football scores. I'm sure if you look back at old weeks in the league you can find a week where the scores match those numbers. And they will say... "It was the scores in the Championship in week 8 of 2013" or something like that.

 

Oh and all we have to do tonight is arrest Bodanki and allow the journalist to survive one more night. That will lead to a report in the morning either way. If the journo is in fact mafia they won't be able to write a report and after no paper we will be able to kill the false claimant before the next days vote.

 

And, after lurking for a fair while, Danilo suddenly pops up with a comment about a side issue, completely ignores the main issues (and the fact he's been suggested for a 50/50) and doesn't vote.
