The best Christian Bale film is Harsh Times, IMO.

"So yes", I said demonstrating to the chinaman, "this shirt was worn and given to me by the current polish international goalkeeper.
That is Artur Boruc's, he replied.
"No it's ****ing true!", I yelled.

Exactly. Roy Keane has a very specific contract arrangement wherein he has to remind the rest of the world at least once a year of how much of a tit he is. It honestly baffles me how anyone can take him seriously or believe he has anything to offer. If you believe him pretty much every manager/agent/player et all of his era were either massively incompetent or involved in a conspiracy to stop him from becoming the greatest player there ever was.

Yay ! My late Dad worked at the ESA HQ in Darmstadt in the late 70's and 80's, he would have been well chuffed with this news.

Through KickStarter, film director Steve Barron is looking to raise funds to complete the project to make a second Mike Bassett film.

They need £250,000, and so far fans of the film have raised £114,000 - with various rewards for donating.

    Bounced twice..!

Amazing. We have such a varied forum.

    Some astounding mission facts:

    Philae lander

    • Travelled 6.4 billion km (four billion miles) to reach the comet
    • Journey took 10 years
    • Planning for the journey began 25 years ago
    Comet 67P

    • More than four billion years old
    • Mass of 10 billion tonnes
    • Hurtling through space at 18km/s (40,000mph)
    • Shaped like a rubber duck

Distances in space are incomprehensible to us. Fancy setting off 10 years ago and just arriving...must have taken the M26.

Yep, I'd say it wasn't the easiest of landings. The small amount of gravity that the comet obviously possesses made it bloody difficult to land, but also turned a crash landing into a funfair ride. :)
