    Don't think things are getting nasty. I find the whole 'never your fault' offensive and while most things I can let go, this particular one gets my back up. I would say the same if Liverpool fans were referencing stuff they shouldn't as well.

    Apologies if I offended anyone - don't think I did.

    Fair enough I think everyone's big boys who can get back to the corse issue that if you hate lfc sterling assaulted ramierez and if you love us ramierez is a dirty thug ( and has the cards to prove it)

    Don't know mate. He was dished a four game ban last time the ref missed it in the game, who puts it forward for FA to look at, I don't know.

    It's a bit odd that he saw enough to card Sterling but didn't see the forearm smash.

    Now I know that your not only do you need to look again at the laws of physics but also you are in desperate need of an eye test if you truly believe that Ramires and Sterling were very close - that simply is not true. Even the clip at the start of this thread shows Ramires taking 3/4 paces before making contact with Sterling. If you don't believe that he could have changed course in that space then I suggest that you talk to any Rugby Union player about stepping off either foot whilst travelling at speed.

    The Ref may know about the law but the majority of pundits commented that he made more than 1 mistake during that game. So, I would say that knowing the laws and employing the laws are 2 different things as far as he is concerned!
