And we know for sure Lucaas is mafia recruiter, so should be a relatively stress free evening, unless one of us is assassinated.

In which case I can't see why the Mafia would ever consider assassinating you. Surely they would try and target a freemason or the journo, rather than go for a vigilante who

a) Can't make any more kills so has no more power than any random townie
b) May still have some magic self defence power that kills the assassin if they try

Bear in mind that the Mafia know every innocent townsperson, so it's not like MITO's investigation proving you are innocent gives them any new info!

 

Meh! I've probably given it away already and Mafia have figured it out Tennisball so I'll come clean:

I have two guns. Charlene, the rifle. Lucy, the pistol.
I started off with 2 bullets in Charlene, none with Lucy- I have to collect the bullets for Lucy. I don't get the ammo for Lucy until today (instead of my vigilante kill I can go pick up the ammo instead in my usual kill spot)... (that's why I think Mafia get extra bullet(s) tonight too).

I can't use Lucy to make vigilante kills... only Charlene.

So, yes. How I read the rules- I should have Lucy's bullets BEFORE they attempt to assassinate me tonight. However, there is still a 50% chance they kill me in the shootout. So don't arrest me. I don't know if I can collect Lucy's bullets if I'm arrested.

 

Given this info, there is no point the Mafia targeting you for assassination. You can't make any more offensive kills, and once you have bullets you will have a 50% chance of killing the Mafia assassin. Vigilante acts before Mafia assassin, so you will definitely have bullets if they try.

Mafia are about to lose their recruiter, so no chance they will want to risk losing their assassin as well.

 

Just got home and been very busy today, have I missed much other than it looks like Lucaas is odds on for the chop tonight?

 

Yes... although I kind of hesitated all day whether to reveal this or not- ... if they tried to kill me- 50% chance I could have killed their assassin and it would then be safe for journalist to come out and essentially game won for town.

Didn't want Sir Tennis to lose an arrest if there is someone else we think we should protect or inhibit.

 

I did notice you use the name Lucy briefly in one post this afternoon before quickly changing your comment. Out of interest, can mods see those changes?

 

There is one point, in that Milk is basically a known innocent now. That gives the town slighly more information. Probably not enough to risk your assasin for, but its one reason the mafia could go after Milk.

If the mafia did hack why would they just say 1 person is innocent, they would surely try to make someone else look guilty?

 

It's quiet when we all know with a good degree of certainty who's getting lynched tonight. I don't think there's gonna be enough doubt spread to avoid lynching Lucaaas tonight, which has to be our main aim now to be fair, which makes it difficult to put pressure on anyone else. Tomorrow could be more uncertain.

My money is on milk being proven a liar when astro reveals my role You can deal with that how you want to.

 

Throwing another thought out, not sure if been discussed....any sense in arresting Lucaaas tonight (thus no mafia conversion).

Pro's - we get Lucaaas tomorrow anyway but get chance of A N Other Mafia tonight). Still guarantees no conversion. Might force Mafia to defend if we got one up in a tie.

Con's - No other chief suspect for the chop and risk wasting Cop's save of townie tonight. Risk lynching journo or other town member. Also may allow Mafia to use forced vote (no point them doing that while Lucaaas up for chop by clear margin).

If I was mafia I would've hacked the article and said one of my fellow mafia members was the journalist forcing the journalist to come out and defend himself

Saying X is innocent would simply be too obvious...
