As was the miniseries Lonesome Dove and its sequels starring Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones, about two retired Texas Rangers who drive a cattle herd to Montana for something to do.

Steven Davis out of N. Ireland squad due to hamstring complaint (minor). Two weeks for him to recover to play for Saints so good news for us but not him.
Any minute, the Rosetta spacecraft is about to land on a comet. Astonishing stuff..! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/science-environment-29985988 It may already have done by now. EDIT: Landed..! Earlier: here's the detachable lander on it's way to the Comet please log in to view this image
I just wonder what answers we could get about our planet and the Solar System from the success of the mission.
12th November 2014 - a historic day. Even someone like myself, who isn't a huge space freak, can see what a massive achievement this is. And I'm very curious to see what they can find out.
I was born into the Space Age - September 1958. Sputnik I had only orbited a year previously, and I grew up watching the Race for the Moon. Since that time the headline excitement has sort of gone out of space exploration. There have been great highlights, but the periods in between are so long. The Giotto spacecraft chased Halley's Comet across space, in the 1980's, before being destroyed. Today is a fantastic day though. Another spacecraft has landed on another rock off the Earth. Update: Oops, they're not 100% sure it is anchored down yet. I've a tiny suspicion they might think it could be thrown off. They have to deploy an anchor, would you believe..!
