Unless Astro clarifies... we don't actually know if who Tennisball arrests is protected or not. Mafia may chose to not go after the arrested person out of fear of being caught in shootout. The only reason they might is if Astro has clarified with them but not us.

Can I request that if the Mafia have PMed Astro to ask for clarification- that the clarification be posted here for everyone please (if one is given)?

If the journalist does get arrested and there is no newspaper tomorrow- I think we should all lay our cards on the table for sure. We would have at least 4 (maybe 5) known innocents. Two Freemasons, One Journalist, One Cop, One Vigilante (minus me if I lose shootout). That's over half the town. If they stick together and take out the people not declared- we'd still have majority of town at that point as known innocents.

The only role mafia could bluff as being would be freemasons. But that would be risky for them because if we found one that way... we'd find the other.

Seriously tho', I can confirm that I am not Mafia and not the journo, so you won't lose anything by having me arrested.

Tbh I'd quite like to be arrested tonight, as I read Bisc's bluff from the first day, and am not sold by Milk today, so if Milk actually is bluffing about Lucaaas there may be a bullet with my name on it tonight! So protect me please TB, or at the least lay down your life for mine

 

11 people left. Assuming 2 people are killed tonight (and one is Mafia).

That leaves 2 vs 7.

At minimum if everyone comes out tomorrow (after 10am) that would leave us with:

2 Mafia.
4(or5) Known Town
3(or 2) Regular Townies we don't know.

If known town then stick together- we would be pretty hard to beat on a lynch vote. We don't know how many bullets their assassin has though. If like previous games they started with 2 (like I did) and are picking up a third bullet as soon as nightfalls tonight they can take only take two of us out. (Known town would still outnumber Mafia- or at least be equal to them).

Danger would only be if assassins have unlimited bullets... but if they do... curious why no kills on night 1.



So Journalist getting outed would not be end of the world... obviously, I think Journo should keep his role hidden unless he gets arrested... but if he gets arrested- we just all out ourselves tomorrow.

 

This only works if we get the recruiter, as if we lay cards on the table before the recruiter goes down then we run the risk of the journo or a freemason being recruited.

 

Swarbs, when you do quotes, they keep saying that they're from me, although that quote is blatantly Milk. I'm confused?

Anyway, given TB's statement, Milk seems legit, which in turn makes it look pretty safe that Lucaaas is the recruiter. Assuming that Lucaaas is lynched tonight and is the recruiter, there's (hopefully) no chance of recruitment.

EDIT: People are only suggesting coming out tomorrow at the earliest, i.e. once we've seen if Lucaaas is recruiter or not.

 

Why would I claim to be the vigilante if I'm a townie?

If I'm vigilante- Mafia already know I am because they tried to recruit me last night and failed.
If I'm town- Mafia know I'm NOT the vigilante. So only people I'm fooling would be the town- and they would kill me if the real vigilante came forwards.

Makes no sense to say I'm vigilante if I'm a town member.

BTW... not sure if significant... but I shall mention it in case anyone else see's significance... my shot on the recruiter was using the rifle. Lucaaas's shot at me was using the pistol.

I take it to mean that this means that the shot Lucaaas used doesn't count against their assassination shots. (since he's not the assassin wouldn't have thought it would anyway).

Suggestion:

Tennisball, make it a secret who you arrest. We don't know if the arrested person is protected or not- and to our knowledge, neither do Mafia (if they've been given that extra information, hopefully we will too). I'd suspect that they will not try to assassinate anyone who you might arrest just in case they get in a shoot-out. So I'd suggest keeping a secret from town who you plan to arrest.

 

Sounds like a decent plan, might make them second guess who they target,

TB has already said that MITO's investigation said you were vigilante, so I believe you. I just wasn't sure how you worked that out.

Danilo and RHC are not typically active- so it's not a red flag. AFC is typically active so his lack of activity is a little concerning.

Those three aren't going to give themselves away in posts if guilty unfortunately, so would be worth investigating. It's the only way we'll catch them if they're mafia.
