My reference to the ref is based upon a number of disputable decisions that he made during the match which when added to the Ramires situation (which he had a clear view of) makes his overall performance worthy of review.

I know Ramires can be dirty at times, especially if a game is getting away from us (ala Villa last year) and he's one of the more likely in our side to do this, just don't think it was the case here.

    It's called an opinion son.

If someone steps in your way it's conceivable you put your arms up to protect yourself. It's certainly not clear cut and the player should probably get the benefit of the doubt as Sterling is OK.

You are fully justified in having an opinion of your own but you should at least base that opinion on fact. Sterling did not step in an Ramires's way. At worst Sterling held his ground. It was therefore up to Ramires to change his run. Now you can complain that Sterling changed his body shape by turning but the argument that Ramires did not intend to assault Sterling still does not hold true - look at his movements.

I can't comment upon his previous 'misdemeanours' but this one is blatant. If you can be sent off for what Benteke did then you should be arrested for what Ramires did.

Anyone thinking Sterling made any kind of foul needs to admit that Ivanovic blocked Suarez with a shoulder to the teeth <ok>

Just seen your comment on the match thread on your board. Surely we're providing enough to have a go at us with other than stooping to that level.

It was a bit of banter as highlighted by the 'wink' smiley. Please don't live up to the outraged by everything cliché.

The old 'not their fault' line is what I'd call scraping the barrel ...

You can't just change your run when moving at that pace. It was blatant obstruction whether Sterling moved or didn't move and that's why he was booked. The authorities will no doubt decide whether Ramires was wrong as well.

    So, in the version on Liverpool TV;

Ramires should have been sent off for a deliberate attempt to decapitate Sterling
Costa should have been sent off for the attempted murder of poor innocent tattooed skinhead Skrtel
Cahill should have been sent off twice for two deliberate handballs (denying two clear penalties)
Costa's goal should not have stood as Azpilicueta had dribbled the ball into the stands before crossing

Anything else you want to have a moan about?

It's the one thing that's not considered 'banter'. I'm tired of the 'not their fault' line being rolled out - just stop with it, winking smiley or not.

Other than that, trot out as much banter as you like, I'm all for it <ok>

What a load of rubbish! Have you ever played football? Players can and most certainly do change their run when running at pace.

Now go away and come back when you have found the law of football that states that you must move out of the way when an opposing player runs towards you - I promise not to hold my breath waiting for your return.

I think you're being very assuming here. I don't really want to get into the in's and out's of what 'not their fault' could imply but I'm positive it doesn't mean what you think it does in most cases on this site. The Suarez debacle was the thing that actually started that 'saying'.
