Suggestion for the journo: Write down each day whether or not the piece the night before was hacked. As the mafia only have one hack, this may help us work which information we can believe and which we can't (if the journo stays alive long enough).

For example, if the journo writes tonight that this morning's piece wasn't hacked, then if they write again tomorrow night that tonight's piece wasn't hacked, then we know that tonight's piece wasn't hacked. If tonight's piece had been hacked, tomorrow night's piece would say so and couldn't be tampered with anymore. If tomorrow night's piece was hacked, then the original would say that tonight's piece was ok and the mafia could only change it to saying that the tonight's piece had been hacked. Then we treat both entries with suspicion until the following night, when hopefully the situation can be cleared up by confirming/denying the previous hacking accusation.

Of course, this goes to pot if the journalist is converted.

What if the paper gets hacked tonight saying it was hacked last night?? Then we'll all vote for Lucaaaaas and he might still be innocent

Yep, people play as individuals rather than as a team. The whole point of putting in a coin toss is to watch reactions yet people are more interested in saving themselves. It's why I sit stubbornly, in willing to be killed if it's for the good of the team

 

Killing an innocent is never for the good of the team, unless either a) It confirms the 100% irrefutable guilt of a mafia or b) Its BRB

 

my only comment is i wrote on my file... danilo will post in evening. Each evening he has turned in around 5/6 and commented. I don't think its suspicious in and of itself. If you want to put him up for a no lynch vote fair enough.... thats all the info i have on him.

there's several late votes. both bod and afc voted at 8:00 as the tie was borken. Again maybe for bad reason maybe for good. on face value i can't just use that on its own. again a little note can be made of it though

swarbs voted late on and also explain himself too. accept or not? that you guys choice.


this is really a turkey shoot. bascially it turns IBWT tactic on its head for now unitl we see the full extent of it. We can say it attracted attention to him and in the end got him in trouble. until we know these mafia powers we can't say much more. all suspects today stem form those actions. had he been playing regulalry he would have skirted along and possibly survived a long time... we must all asses his words individually and decide who much they influence us

nut you are right none of the town are really a team as we can't talk to each other. the mason's are a team. the mafia are a team but the rest of us are individuals with the same goal.... nobody wants to die do they?

day 2 is a crap shoot when nobody bar one dies. 3/14 to find and no info... well 3/12 if we discount lucaaas and sky

As I've already said, annoyed that people are casting doubt on me for no legitimate reason. I don't mind if there is a genuine reason and I accept that I've been overly defending myself and that can be considered strange behaviour for me

That's a very good point!

I forgot journalist doesn't send in headline before nightfall... rather before 10am. So yes, if there is a recruitment tonight- there is a one in 10 chance that journalist gets recruited. (13 left after lynch tonight- 3 of whom are Mafia- so Mafia have 1 in 10 chance of getting the Journalist if they recruit).

Don't know the rules of recruitment. Can they recruit tonight? Or do they have to drop to 1 or 2 first? One action a night? We are not told.
