Yes got to agree with all this, Taylor has come on leaps and bounds since his first game of the season, and he is very committed to our cause. It took Ramsey two seasons to recover from his broken ankle, so as I have said before to Yankee, I cut him some slack this season for good reason, my concern is Rangel, who is either on a bad run of form, or is going downhill fast!.................<ok>

Might I suggest that you could do with some change of thought pattern? By embracing Monk the Magnificent, you never know you might just like it, and the positive flow that will engulf you.........

So amuse us with a few of these weekly, comical, opinion changes you snidely refer to.

I doubt they're as boring as your wibbling Libby, so go on, give us an example. <ok>

I don't have it in for Taylor. Watch the video of the goal especially the replay with a wide angle view. Dai is castigating Bony for nothing. I am not blaming Taylor for the goal - I am blaming Taylor for giving up. He basically stopped working to get back and if he hadn't then he may have had an impact or he may not, but it's his job to get on his bike and get his ****ing arse back in position and not become a spectator.

Frankly, Taylor is not the only player I have seen do this this season. But this is not his first time.

Taylor went from being level with the play to 20 to 25 yards behind it .... What do you call that. That is not acceptable.

Rangel is not blessed with speed - never has been. But Rangel is not the one that basically gave up on getting back - Taylor did. If Rangel had done the same thing then I'd be all over him, but he didn't, not this time.

And I'm getting tired of hearing Taylor is still coming back from his injury as an excuse or as part of a plea for understanding. How many games does it take to get his head straight. I am not criticizing Taylor's speed or lack thereof, I'm commenting on his giving up on the play. That's a mental thing. At this rate, Ben Davies will be retired and coaching before Taylor "gets back to form".

I don't need to amuse anyone, regular posters who don't have their heads located in dark places will be well aware of to whom I refer.

I'll give you one though. The poster immediately before you changes his stance more often than most.
A few weeks ago he announced that he never wanted Monk as the new Manager, this in the wake of a 5 match winless run.
However, earlier in the season he was hailing Monk as the new Messiah,in the wake of 3 wins on the bounce.
Now,post Leicester, and Arsenal, he is Monk's man again.
    Just watch this space.

Of course when you take statements out of context, then you can manipulate them to suit anything which is what Libby is up to with his post above, it's a matter of record that Dai and myself could see Laudrop being sacked before the event, and while at the time I was disappointed by Jenkins running with Monk as manager, I for my part unlike Libby, embraced the change and decision by our board and moved forward in support of Monk, something Libby has yet to do. That is what fans should do, and while I have always stated that Monk was not the most gifted of CB's, what he lacked in talent, he made up for in Intelligent play, and Monk has clearly brought his intelligence to his managerial position and it's so clear that even neutral fans can see that, but of course those like Libby who are poisoned by Laudrop's sacking just cannot wait to throw digs at every oportuinity, something that is so clear and obvious, and that's a shame given the result again yesterday, and the position we are now in the table.

All this from Libby, while he has the temerity to call me childish? Makes you think how such a grown man can sulk for so long?

I've criticised Taylor a lot over the past few months because I wasn't seeing an significant improvement. Yesterday, I saw improvement. There were still a few instances I'd have liked him to have given the ball onto Montero and he gave it back to Ash, but that's because he's under my microscope still. Generally, he played well. Tackled hard, stopped quite a few crosses coming in, got the ball to his winger (in this case, Montero) so much more than ever before this season, even overlapped Montero on occasion and got a good cross in himself.

Happy for the guy and I'm happy to give credit when it's due. I find it hard to single him out for their goal. Even if he sprints back, there's no telling whether that would stop the goal or not. He was never going to catch Welbeck, so that means he's chasing Sanchez. Even if he gets there, Sanchez's movement would probably have found space for Welbeck to pick him out regardless. He put a good shift in yesterday and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the same from Neil now.

Looks at the Arsenal Board. <laugh>
But on a real note teams that people didn't give much of a chance have stepped up this season, Swansea included.

The PL is arguably the weakest it's ever been with three of the current top five being rank outsiders.

With the likes of Arsenal,Liverpool,Man.Utd.,Spurs',and Everton, currently occupying mid table slots,it seems that maybe a new order is emerging.

    Not before time,say I.

OMG what rubbish, Just because the saints and us are occupying the places of the usual big clubs that the monk haters who have had their noses totally put out of joint have now come up with another excuse that the premiership is weaker <doh> It's not because the saints and the swans managers have broke the mold and got their respective teams playing good football and earned their rise into the top 6. Of course it isn't the premiership is weaker and we have been lucky with the decisions..<laugh>

Fickleness has been going on for far longer than 10 years. But it has seemed to increase in general in the past few years.

Stick Southampton and West Ham up against their equivalents in La Liga, Atletico and Barcelona and see how they get on...

Only one of our teams will get beyond the last 16 in the champions league this season, and that has nothing to do with Mid table teams improving

Absolutley! Anything to dilute Monks achievments, pretty sad to say the least.

He has picked his game up recently and it may seem that he's the villain atm ,all players get it even Bony's become one posters sacrificial lamb .Maybe he wouldn't have got back but Sanchez would have had less time to think to place his shot if he thought one of ours was breathing down his neck .Taylor did give up the chase and that was disappointing imo . Monk has reinstilled a new belief and an all for one mentality which was let down by one incident .
