our best signing so far

this is not a wind up but out of the players we have signed who do you think has been the most impressive? my choice is moreno and lallana (when he gets picked). yours?

 

Manquillo.
20 years old, played only 7 times last year for Atletico.

We have him on a 2 year loan and then an option to buy at like 4 mil. And he already looks better than Johnson.

Fantastic cross on him too.

Followed by Moreno as our second best signing

 

Moreno and Can, rest unsure on.

 

Manquillo. How Johnson has kept his place is beyond me.

Moreno has made a few mistakes but looks good. I like Lallana and really would like to see him get a run in the team.....it's not as though we have bundles of creativity in the team right now!

The rest are pants.

 

Manquillo, Can and Moreno for me. Everyone else has barely made a difference. All three should start every game.

Manquillo, Moreno and Can. The latter is only just beginning to show what he is capable of as he had a bad injury pre season so is only now becoming match fit. Hope he plays against Palace, but we will probably get Allen

I think personally we've 3 that are good but not all there... Manquillo is doing well but is inexperienced and learning but is only a loan so.... moreno is good going forward but looks like he's a lot of work to do to not be the next glen johnson... finally........ can looks to be improving rapidly as his fitness comes up.

for me............ lovern is not the player rodgers boasted he was... lallana is far too lightweight even if he's showed a few bits. he's a one two merchant round the box not what we need... lambert is pointless and frankly badontelly is the worst signing since carroll. ... and markovic is a confusing one.. he doesn't look worth half the fee.

I bascially think garlic is bang on...

Moreno, Can and Manquillo - 3 young lads who have done well for this team and putting the senior members to shame.

I think Can could become like a German Yaya Toure over the next 5 or so years.

Lallana has been good. We new what we were going to get with him though. He's just come in and done his bit.

Manquillo's been by far the best signing (and biggest surprise too) when he gets a chance, Moreno and Can have both showed glimpses of ability too but will take time to learn and develop. Lallana's also done well for me when he gets on the pitch. A one-two merchant around the box he may be, but he'll link up brilliantly with Coutinho, Sterling and Sturridge as a forward four.

 

Everyone saying Can after one good game in which he scores Gonna have to show the same levels week in week out from now on otherwise there'll be about four threads on here sayin we should bin him

 

To be fair I've said I liked Can since we bought him. As someone who follows the Bundesliga I knew what a player he could be, and was very happy when we signed him. He's had more than one good game. Well, he's definitely had more good games than Gerrard has this year!
