Really don't know what Wenger was thinking when he started the season with only two centre-halves. Very strange.
Don't see how anyone can call this the "the best lesgue in the world" with a staging face. The standard is abysmal and the gap between 1st and 3rd will be a minimum of 20 points come May.
We are having, by general consensus, the worst season on record... and yet, we're still only one win away from Arsenal!!!!! Get in there, my son! The North London Power-Shift is still alive! It's just that I never imagined it would happen in a mid-table bun-fight.
Bollocks that we are one win away from Arsenal or from anybody for that matter. Get it in that Arsenal does not matter a jot to us in our situation, only WE matter. Now if that can be accepted then we need to get out of this mess regardless of what our neighbours do. I remember George Graham being vilified because the spoilt little brats on Tottenham's terraces couldn't stand the fact that he played for and managed our neighbours. Name calling, things thrown, hate mail to name but some. Bollocks. I was sitting in a cafe owned by two Chelsea supporters who suggested get him and we won a trophy and I agreed to his signing. Now, does it matter who a player has played for if we get him in because of our present predicament? No it doesn't and I don't care if we buy Podolski in January as we have been linked because he would be a better buy than Rodriguez. Balls that he plays for Arsenal and balls to those who wouldn't want him because he plays for Arsenal. I say stop sniveling. Campbell was welcomed at Arsenal as too was Jennings so are Spurs supporters the neighbours' spoilt noisy brats? "Boo hoo hoo snivel snivel snivel, he plays for Arsenal, don't want him snivel snivel." I say bloody grow out of it. Bar me for this post if you want.
Is that wishful thinking? If the fabled power shift is gonna happen it looks more likely Arsenal will get dragged into the relegation dogfight than we will drag ourselves to mid-table with the way we're playing currently.
Spot on TMT. But it is the case that Arsenal have everything that posters want on here for us, a stable manager who works without a DoF and also much more money but it doesn't seem to be working that much better over recent seasons. Perhaps running a football club is a tad more difficult that some on here seem to think.
Saints are riding high because of confidence which is better than scores of millions spent on players Power. Spurm posted he'd stop supporting Spurs if Podolski comes, talk about prophetic and pathetic.
Agree with it except the Plodolski bit,he doesn't cut it for me,struggles almost as much as the ones we have with P/L football, where as Rodriguez doesn't
I wouldn't want Podolski at Spurs because he's not very good, not because he's played for Arsenal. He seems to do well at international level and with one particular club, but he's basically a Polish Darren Bent. Even worse, as he defected.
I know what you mean tots but in the physicality and the realism of the PL, what the fudge does it matter what they do, it's WE who matter. I've put forward what I think would be the first steps towards a cure. Not very good PNP? Better than we have at the moment and it takes nasty tasting medicine sometimes to cure the ills. Would you want FDB then?
We could start by pointing out to Ade it's him and the rest of the squad who are to blame, not the fans
