Firstly apologies to Ian Dury for pinching his title, but things are not as bad as we may think. Yes we have not been playing well, but:-

1.There is only 4 points between West Ham in 4th and Spurs in 12th, so we are still in touch for the top four despite our current form.

    2. Daniel Sturridge will return for the Palace game which should make us faster in attack.

    3. Can is getting fitter and showing signs of why we bought him.

    4. Coutinho appears to have recovered his form.

    5. We have a two week break to get ourselves sorted.

    6. The run of games until we play Utd are all winnable if we play as we know the team can.

Downside is we still have Johnson, but you can't have everything

  2. No.2: what happens if he...

    a) breaks down again; or
    b) doesn't have the impact we all expect him to have

Let's worry about that if it happens. If it does then "we may have a problem, Houston"

There is a premiership break so that Rodgers can consider his options.

Sturridge is coming back for the next game.

We can only go up the table from here.

    <ok>.

I dont think they are stopping the Premier League for two weeks so that Rodgers can consider his options.
    I think it's because of Internationals :p

Sakho looks very nervous when he plays, I don't see him as a solution at moment.

He 'looks' nervous, I agree. But he's far more composed on the ball than Lovren and Skrtel. Those look like conventional, orthadox defenders but they actually commit far more mistakes and concede possession more than Sakho.

And the lad probably is nervous - the gaffer goes and signs another LCB in the summer (unneccessary purchase), plus when he does get a chance, he will likely get dropped the following game.

We want to encourage playing out from the back and looking forward. Skrtel plays it side to side, Lovren just ends up hoofing it. At least Sakho will get on the ball, bring it forward and plays it with pace, often bypassing opposition lines.

All good points, imo it's a center back pairing we need. Too many individulas who don't work together.

Don't be silly. We all know what goes on behind the secens. Why do you think we get so many penalties and OGs?

Skrtel's rapping there, so he won't be available.

Well we could have had one had Rodgers not decided to sign a LCB in the summer. Skrtel should have been the one we replaced.
