United fans harp on about Di Maria being value for £60m because he is without doubt in the world's top ten players.

Looks like a list of players who have snubbed United in the transfer market.

You didn't, Fabregas was included. How many passes did he manage when he was in Fellaini's pocket? Not sure Fellaini has had anyone other than Fabregas in his pocket since he joined United!

Seriously though, how about Isco? Iniesta? Xavi? Ribery's probably about as good on his day, Muller? Schweinsteiger?

Still, not bad company to be discussed with.

Fabregas is a seriously good technical player, but I don't see what the fuss is with Hazard, personally. He's a decent winger, but he's one of many in the league, and has been over-hyped well beyond his abilities by the media. For me, after the era where Thierry Henry was just ridiculously far ahead of everyone else, Cristiano Ronaldo set a standard for excellence in this league for attacking, pacy players, and only Suarez has come close to him, with the likes of Bale a bit behind that. Hazard's nowhere even close. Still, at 23, the potential to be a really good player is there.

I know Kolo played well against Madrid, but wouldn't necessarily say he's better than Di Maria, even from a Liverpool fan!

I have it on good authority he is 6th on the current shortlist of 23 Ballon d'Or world's best players. I've seen it on their website <diva>

  18. Fabregas is a different type of player so I won't argue with that despite not agreeing. However, for you to laugh at the suggestion that Hazard is better is seriously deluded <laugh>

Yeah. Forgot about them. Agree Ribery Iniesta and Muller> the Real reject, and Isco has been superb this season. Guess Real could have kept Di M and sold Isco.

Di M not making my top 20 now

Ronaldo, Messi, Ibra, Suarez, Robben, Neuer, Lahm, Kroos, Bale, Robben, Neymar, Rodriguez, Modric, Aguero, Silva, Toure, Kompany; Sanchez, Koke, Ribery, INiesta, Muller.... I forgot Vidal and Pogba too

You forgot Hattie Jacques. There's a rumour she once went to watch QPR play at Stamford Bridge and that there's a picture of her, you, your mammy and someone else's match ticket printed on your pillow case.
