This team is looking more and more like the team Ramos put out. A rudderless ship. I would get Martin Jol NOW!
Exactly. I'm not saying he is the greatest in the world but he is certainly better than the last 3 we have thrown millions at.
2 Enicout flags were confiscated by the stewards at WHL today. No free speech under Levys evil empire.
Why do Southampton fans all have this strange delusion about the size of their club? It's really weird.
The difference was Ramos had some decent players but made a mess of it, Poch hasn't got any decent players and that's why we're in trouble
Oh come on guys have we learned nothing? We could get Mourinho, Guardiola, Mancini... or even Sam Allardyce, Steve McClaren or ask Christian Gross to come back - it makes no difference! This regime will never back the manager fully so it's completely futile. Until there's root and branch changes at Spurs, we're just going around in bloody circles. I'm sick to the back teeth of repeating myself and frankly, totally ****ed off with it all. Yes, I'm pissed and justifiably so. These past 4-5 years have been predicted by a large section of fans including me, because we all saw it coming except for the very man at the top who is paid handsomely to run our club. He's a total miser and idiot and the sooner everyone else sees it, the better. Rant over.
We don't. We just have no inferiority complex, hence we like to sing "We are Southampton, we came from League 1".
It still remains that the next owners could be far worse. Trying to pitch the club into the complete unknown is not necessarily for the best. I think your condemnation of Levy is way over the top because nobody in football gets these decisions right by anything other than luck or ridiculous amounts of money. Can I refer you to Man City who with almost unlimited wealth still cannot produce a team to beat the best or even the second best. I am still convinced that Levy is TRYING to get it right and his record still compares favourably with what went before him, so I am not for the out of the frying pan into the fire approach.
Trying, ain't enough. Levy is clearly totally incompetent at spotting managerial talent. At the very least, he should be barred from taking any part in that process in future.
Do we know if it his decisions or is this effectively a committee of which he is the chairman. Plus I think his apparent keenness on having a Director of Football suggests he is looking to someone else to make these decisions or at least advise him. It just strikes me that people that want this kind of change are clutching at straws in much the same way that people like me think that changing the manager will solve it. Let's be honest we are not yet off the expected position because the league is only 10 games in. The worst for me is the football on the pitch and the apparent chaos and lack of fight. That's down to the manager. IMO we need an old and wise head to get things back to basics because I do believe the players need some serious guidance. They must wonder what they have joined.
With levy in charge who will get this manager? His track record in choosing them is cack so we will get it wrong ...again
