I've got no qualms with people having the view that wenger isn't the right man for the job, I just think it's boring that every thread seems to end up the same way. It'd just be nice to discuss the football without it depending into a wenger in/out debate. This is the match thread so discussing the match and what we should now do because of the match seems fitting discussion Plenty of other threads are there to discuss wenger and I think it's a good idea there is a set thread for it at the moment.
we chucked away a 3 goal lead just a few days ago. I cant seriously believe that people are shocked that we threw away a one goal lead , away . The only thing that shocks me is that people are still shocked.
It's a football forum and neither discussing what we can do differently or calling for wengers head is going to result in the required changes. But it's still far more interesting to discuss the football rather than just going on about how much everyone blames wenger.
No it's because certain people are obsessed with the wenger in/out debate more than they are interested in the football being played. And others just seem incapable of talking about anything else.

Talking about football with certain posters on here is as boring as listening to Michael Owen commentate. Posters make posts interesting, not the footballing content.
They could, but they don't. The posters I find boring are consistently boring. But they don't know they bore me. Nor would they care even if they did. They don't exist to entertain me. No doubt my posts bore many. I'm just saying that I find some posters boring who talk exclusively about tactics and football and 'what we can do to improve'. Sleep inducing. Claiming that just talking about football would make the boards more interesting is not true and would make this forum a snooze fest.
yeah, but it isn't really the one you think it is. Every team in the EPL is making a ****-ton of money now, thanks to the TV deal and can bid on players that would've been out of their price range, you aren't top tier in that dpt cos you don't have a sugar daddy like City and Chelsea or a worldwide following like Liverpool or Man Utd. I won't be surprised if the CL contains a surprise or two this season, you need to spend big on defence, as do Man Utd, both of you seem to be looking at Winston Reid for some reason, I'm not really sure why as you both need a defensive leader and he ain't one. You also need bite in central midfield which you have been missing since Viera left. You need to splash £50m-£100m, and you won't.
Funny as his season so far has been a disaster but hes showing wenger, who has arsenal in nowhere near as bad a state how to do it. Sure thing .
thats all very nice but , Southampton havent spent half a billion quid , and yet they are only 4 points behind the leaders. Lucky ? I think not. Just a team that plays as a team , a reasonably good tactician for a manager , and the desire .
I wouldn't go overboard on Southampton just yet... 6 of their next 10 games are against United, City, Chelsea and us. They're just doing an 'us' from last season at the moment.
