Rule 1 of FM: Never manage your own team.

I'm currently managing Monaco and France. I started at a lowly Dutch club called Roda JC.

Nobody is claiming that Sagbo is a world beater, he self evidently isn't, but we have an extremely unbalanced team at the moment and he is quite possibly our only chance of resolving that situation.

If Jelavic is back for Spurs, then it's not necessary, but if he isn't, then he should be recalled.

I know you won't accept this, but I go to almost every game and you go to none, so only see what ever happens wherever the ball is, you have no idea what contribution players make off the ball and Sagbo's is significant.

I agree with this, Sagbo was crying out for a consistent run in the team and also gets on superbly well with the lads. I hope Bruce recalls him. I'm not bothered about his lack of goals this season as he will be there to play a role and help Hernandez and Ben Arfa hit the net

Actually they weren't that good at the end of last season or the start of this either, before Jelavic got injured.

Well said that man - with the odd exception Huddlestone and Livermore have been average at best for quite a long time at end of last season, and a chunk of this - nothing to do with Jelavic. They still seem to be inked in every week, though , whereas Quinn had a couple of good games and then gets left out again. And Meyler (who has a better goalscoring record than Livermore and similar energy) doesn't seem to get a look in.

He was substituted yesterday at half time as they were losing, and without him went on to win. Not sure whether it was tactical or he just played poorly, but doesn't look as if he is pulling up trees yet.

Spine if the team out, big mac, dawson and jelly, when you lose the majority if your spine your going to be tested, but despite this lets not forget we got draws from Arsenal and Liverpool, and lost to a very good and well organised Southampton side. Always gonna have difficult periods, but tbh I have the upmost faith in Steve Bruce to make sure we don't get another performance like yesterday, you could see in his press conference how annoyed and embarrassed he was about it. In Bruce we trust

Every time he was supplied the ball on Saturday he had his back to goal in a useless position and then fouled someone anyway. He's another one of these strikers whose offside with his back to goal near the halfway line all the time too, lazy twat.

Thats because our midfield is lazy! ....they need to get supply him the ball in the area, if the can be arsed running that far! !

You cant seriously look at that team and say the reason we aint getting goals is because of hernandez!...id recommend properly watching our midfielders, and take into account they dont create anything! Or move far (Excluding diame)

Come on Madge, if you go to the game you are watching where the ball is (which is where the 'action' is) and not other players picking their noses. Good players 'off the ball' are those who will anticipate the play and get into a position where they can be effective. That is why the better strikers can pick up the loose ball and score goals. Sagbo is 'off the boil' and I sympathize with the bloke because he is a professional footballer and he is not being allowed to hone his craft. I don't think any professional (regardless of his trade) would want to sit around doing nothing and (imo) Sagbo would be better off being loaned out to a Club that could use his talents and not keep him on 'stand-by' game after game, and then giving him 2 minutes in extra-time which is appalling. The bloke must be fed up to his back teeth. Whether Sagbo will 'come good' or not is a matter of opinion but (apart from Wolves) no Club has beaten a path to the KC to sign him, and lets face it, the bloke is 'available' as he is most certainly not wanted here but nobody want's him.

I agree I'd like Sagbo back too, we need something we're missing, and we should be missing Aluko not Sagbo. Id rather see Aluko's sister playing for us than him (genuinely, I think she'd score more).

Not sure I agree with you about ball watching mind. At a game I normally watch hardly anything else. Its only on TV I see stuff in the wider picture.

In hindsight and Steve Bruce (admitted as much with Burnsy post match) he picked the wrong team. Fair play SB.

Maybe SB should have started with Meyler - Quinn - Robertson and even Rosenoir for that dogged and dig in attitude.

The players by and large let everyone down, end of. Hopefully the loss can be used as more than a kick up the backside for Tottenham and Man Utd after the international break.

At least it moves Burnley closer to Crystal Palace who i would like to see go down along with the dramas. Far too many London PL clubs.

Players join Serie A because of the lack of speed and stamina needed....

the other way round rarely pays off (especially if player doesn't want to adapt and isn't given a year at least)
