Interesting line up Terror but I cant see Garry starting Dyer ------- Routledge ------ Montero. I predict a close game and go with 2-2

Well if the Arsenal have 8 players out injured as some say, we must be playing their under 18's so if we just keep on crossing for Bony to outjump their defence we will win at least 8-0.

If, however they still have available, the second string likes of Sanchez, Cazorla , Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere, Wellbeck to name but a few, well it could be a little tougher !

Honestly , I would be happy with a point.

I would take the draw now,but hoping for the win.
I also hope that ref Phil Dowd, being fully aware that he is on live tv worldwide, does not spoil the match, that he let's the game flow, and is impartial and fair in his decisions.
Time for Bartley to come out of hibernation, assuming Fernandez doesn't make it,and warrant his princely wages, and show his old club what they're missing. He did a good job at Sunderland end of last season, hopefully he can slot in effortlessly again, alongside the rock that is Williams.

My main worry is Sanchez who is on fire and they also have pace with those already mentioned previously. I hope we get a point but can see Arsenal nicking it especially as there may be a backlash after they blew it in midweek.

I thought Bartley was at Birmingham not Sunderland.

How long before Amat is back? He's been out a while now. Must be close to returning?

I think he's nearly ready - wouldn't like to see him thrown back in against Arsenal though.

Agree. I'm hoping that he's 'nearly ready' as it would be perfect with the international break coming up for him to get that bit fitter without missing anymore games.

If Fernandez is out then Bartley it will have to be. He did very well in his debut against Arsenal a couple of seasons ago.

This could be the sort of game he needs to stake his claim to the jersey. If he plays and plays well, our strength in depth at CB will be fantastic.

Doesn't look like Spurs will be overtaking us today - Tottenham 0 Stoke 2 at half-time.

Christ, Newcastle have jumped above us as things stand - how did that happen? Potentially, 4 wins in a row I suppose.

The Stoke score is a huge surprise. I'm feeling confident of a victory for us today, especially if we can keep up our defensive solidity.

Leon on the bench is a big boost. Not much pace on the bench though with both Dyer and Routs out. Nice to see Amat on the bench too.

What happened to Routs and Dyer

Now we get to see the true measure of our depth
