So if they are all ****, they must all be of a similar level. Therefore the league is by definition competitive. Therefore you were wrong in your previous post. If you were wrong about that, what else are you wrong about Stopmeandslapme?... If that is your real name.
Barnet got ****ed out the FA Cup by Wycombe Wanderers yesterday. They might still be in the Herts Cup.
Did they get invited back after getting pumped out of the league? Enfield should have been in it for the years they moved out to Hertfordshire before they got liquidated.
Except Mick. If he posts numerous paragraphs then it's usually dirge from a book rather than full blown rage.
English teams were at their best when they were full of Scottish players like Dalglish, Souness, Macari etc. Why not replicate that success by spending millions on the likes of Scott Brown, Mark Reynolds and Ian Black? Guaranteed to get you back to the top in European competitions..
Didn't Enfield split into two clubs? Enfield and Enfield Town, I believe. Not sure what happened there. Only one survived, but as a new entity, not as the original club.
I'm not rightly sure to be honest. I know they got a pretty ****e deal on Southbury Road and ended up in Boreham wood. They stayed on the road for years then but were going nowhere. I get hazy after that. A new club was formed like AFC Wimbledon because the supporters were ****ed off over some shenanigans with the money from Southbury Road. I'm not really sure what it was but I think that the money was placed into a trust to get them back into the borough but it was set up in such a way that benefitted the chairman. Saying it now that doesn't make a lot of sense but it was something like that. That team play at the Athletics stadium on the other side of the park which Southbury road was on. Enfield went bust altogether after the chairman sunk them, but you are right, a new club was started straight away but they play out in Harlow now.
