The vash/js files will be installed locally and will be included in the update when we do a release. It's 6000+ clients who each have sometimes just one machine, typically around 6 and a few bigger customers might have 100 or so.

At the start I suggested HTML and a dll to communicate with the DB but he wanted to play around with new technology.

Agreed. However, all that's gonna get you is a custodial sentence.

The geeks have won mate. Proper hard ****s aren't really needed in the 21st Century. Even blowing **** out of ISIL is done mostly via remote servers these days.
