Perhaps him celebrating like you had already won the league in that way, has transferred to the players and they have lost their focus. Runs like you guys are on are a bitch to get off in the championship, the best thing that could happen to you is an international break.
I think his reaction at ipswich sums him up. naive. but I think it was an honest mistake and he certainly shouldn't be lambasted for it given he apologised immediately
We are dreadful at corners anyway but why do we put the entire team in the box including the 2 cb's at 1-1 ? The ball bounced out and they scored on the break. In a cup match it makes sense but we gifted them the match and the 3 points. We have no real leader in our team like Iwan or Holt and our current run is way more than a blip. Today should have been a nice boring 1 nil but yet again we blew it. Adams out.
If he wants it we should do everything we can to get Holt in January. He is a leader and a winner and he is getting Huddersfield points on his own right now.
I know you lot are on a bad run and as a Town fan that's well funny. But seriously I wouldn't get too emotional. You're only 2 points out of play offs and it's only November. Maybe Adams is a problem, I'm not sure. But to me you've been a bit unlucky as well so don't get hung up on being 10th. There's hardly anything between the whole top half.
While this is true, the reason posters are unhappy is because on paper we have the strongest squad in the league bar none, yet unlucky or not, the way we are playing we deserve to be in tenth (at best). Add to that the fact this season the Championship is really quite weak - no-one has taken the league by the scruff of its neck.
