Against leicester mata was completely over run. I think lvg fears he will be again and with a weak defence he doesnt see much cover. Not saying i agree with lvg but thats my gueas at why fellaini is playing.
So far this is as bad a performance as anything last season. Of the 13 touches Fellaini has had so far in the opposition half, 9 have been back passes, 1 he's been dispossessed and given away a dumb fck clumsy foul, and the 3 he's played forward have lacked any vision. Get him off and put on mata ffs!!
HT Crystal palace should be leading. Wrong team selection by LVG. Take off Fellaini and Januzaj and put on Mata and Herrera. Basic stuff for ****s sake. We're actually inviting pressure bcos of our lack of creativity or meaningful possession.

Mate this doesn't even need a battling performance otherwise I could understand fellony's selection. It needs creativity in the middle, someone to unlock the 8 men sitting back for CP with a bit of vision and incisive passing to bring out the best of Di Maria and RVP. Mata and Herrera all the way, this game is crying out for it.

Not tye best performance but a game we would have dropped points in under moyes. Agree not the best selection but his changes were effective. Cant ask much more once his sides been chosen. Just need real madrid to win and my accumulator comes in. Only 600quid but 59quid profit (net) will do nicely.
We were s**te. And it was all our own making. I can't even credit Crystal Palace for it as they offered nothing. Poor team selection to begin with. He finally brings on Mata.... for Januzaj??? Keeps Fellaini on when he's done nothing, not even won a tackle. He brings on Wilson...for Di Maria instead of RVP who was looking isolated. With ADM off we hand the impetus in midfield to Crystal Palace who lay siege on our goal for the last 20 minutes. All the while Fellaini does nothing to help. Let's not be blinkered about this, that was an abject performance as a result of poor management by LVG and for the first time this season he needs to be criticised for it.
