http://www.espnfc.com/video/latest-videos/600/video/2133317 Shaka Hislop names Southampton as 8th in power rankings (whatever that is) on ESPN...the chart covers Europe so we are in good company. That is all you need to know...I urge you not to bother to watch the short video as it is so appallingly American I need to have a shower to cleanse myself http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...re-backs-good-form-entire-Premier-League.html Mentioned elsewhere...the article where Keown highly rates Fonte and Toby as CB pairing.
I worry for every game...nothing new there I follow the Lawrenson doctrine....the more games you win, the more certain you are to lose. The only time I didn't seem to worry was towards the end last season...we were safe, but not going to achieve greatness. This year we have the cruellest mistress...hope.
This match sold out before I thought about going so got my Man City ticket now to avoid missing out on that one as well.
Given that everything else is equal, by the laws of probability, Saints are no nearer to losing whether they've only just started going on a winning run or at the end of a hundred wins on the trot.
Just listening to Danny Baker talking about 8-0 being the most popular football score at the moment. I fancy another one. Good prog, as usual. Dave Mitchell was on as well.
I have a spare ticket in the Northam. If you want I only want face value so 35 quid. Call or text 07748111617
Give one [or all] of the mods a PM shout and we'll update your post to say IT'S GONE, when you've got rid of it.
If you mean hope of finishing in the top 6, I'll never have to abandon that as I've never given a moments credence to the idea. That means if it does happen it'll be joy unconfined, but if it doesn't, well, you can't be disappointed every time a miracle fails to happen. This is shaping up to be the first season in living memory when there is nothing to fear, because the worst has happened so many times in the last 5 years, and every time we just come up smelling of roses. This season, come what may, we've already achieved more than most of us could of expected in our wildest dreams.
NBC showing Saints vs Leicester City as their selected 3pm kick-off, with Manchester United on the red button.
Meant more than that...I meant hope of winning the league. No, I don't think we will, but that is what hope is about. After you look at it logically, hope sits on your shoulder whispering in your ear...maybe, just maybe.
