Assuming that's a dig at LFC. If so <doh>

Being in the CL and finished 2nd is going backwards from finishing 7th in the league is it? <doh>

Spend 200m in 3 years? You guys spend £150m in 1 summer, you'll pass that number in 3 years don't you worry <laugh>

Depends. I wanted moyes gone with top 4, van gaal could finish 5th as long as we are moving forward. We never progressed under moyes so for me he had to go before the first game of last season.

I woyld happily take a 3 year gap from trophies if it benefits the club long term. Much like 03-06 where we won nothing and dropped way off.

Explain how being in the champions league is beneficial to liverpool just now.

150million we can afford to spend. Compared with the 200million you cannot really afford, and 120million was spent in one window.......

Of course we will spend more than that in 3 years. Probably pass it before next season starts.

so you are happy with the manager you have got, but as long as you see some progress then give him some leeway? ie finish 5th 6th? and better it year on year.

how much of a long term option is van gaal? i have no idea how old he is, but must be getting on a bit.

<doh> Not even going to dignify that with an answer if you seriously don't know.

£120m this window which we couldn't afford? Well we sold a player for £75m so I think we could afford that pretty easily actually. Compared to your £150m spent, and £0 received.

We took a few million and your league form is suffering atbthe expense of the champions league. Looks like a hinderence and rodgers seems to agree.

No, our league form is suffering due to the fact we have no Suarez and no Sturridge.

3 games in the CL has no effect this early in the season, or even throughout the season to be honest

Championship clubs play 46 league games a season, that's 8 more than all Prem Clubs, and more than most CL clubs who go out after only playing 6.

Plus they play earlier rounds in league & FA Cup and if you go down to League 1, they have the JPT to play as well.

6 extra CL games has very very little effect on a team. It' just a smokescreen used by a lot of teams.

    Clean-sheet-tastic <ok>

And tbf who would your back four be if you had injuries to Toure, Lovren, Sakho and Manquillo and Skrtel was suspended?

thats a stupid question.... there lots who'd play...

erm... johnson.. he's a terrible resever but he'd play.

of ycourse you forget gerrez's favoriute flanaverage and enricky are injured just cos you've a few self inflicted injuries.

Actually LFC have a couple of kids like Paez who at least has a shirt number (as much as your pair ever had really) and lets not forget little jones, or ryan mclaughlin too...

    All in all though... <laugh>

seeing sterling was right wing back v Newcastle that RB covered. then its just what midfielder would we stick in... I'd not actually say gerrard. I'd say we'd stick in a lucas meself.

A defence that's been decimated by injury all season but has still conceded one less league goal than Liverpool's remodelled chuckle brothers.
