Forest have not won since September 17th, with 5 draws and 4 defeats since sending them plummeting from the summit of the table to mid-table. Meanwhile Norwich have also graced the top of the table so far this season, but now sit just outside the play-offs after 1 win in 7. With just 4 points separating the top 8 however, a win today could put Norwich back in the play-offs. With Forest now slipping 8 points from the top, they too will be desperate for a win, a continuation of their dismal form threatens to ruin all their good work earlier in the season. Team news: For Forest, top goal scorer Britt Assombalonga should be available to start after an injury lay-off which restricted him to the bench in midweek. Daniel Fox and Jack Hunt will face late fitness tests, but Matty Fryatt is definitely ruled out by a groin injury. Norwich will make a late call on the fitness of Kyle Lafferty after the forward suffered a hip injury against Middlesbrough. Neil Adams' defensive options will be bolstered however by a return to fitness for Jos Hooiveld. Attacking midfield option are somewhat limited though, by the long-term absence of Wes Hoolahan and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe through injury, and Elliott Bennett on loan at Brighton. Head to Head: This is the first meeting of these teams since April 2011, when Norwich won 2-1 on their way to promotion. Neither teams has an outstanding record in this fixture. Since 1993 Norwich have only won at the City Ground once, in 2008, whilst 2008 was also the the last time Forest beat Norwich since 2003. So plenty riding on today's fixture, let's hope Neil can inspire us to a victory, OTBC!
You do realise anything other than a win and you will get the blame?. Well done for stepping up DH rep for you .
Well done DH. I won't blame you if we lose. Well, maybe a murmur under my breath! Think Derby might be solidifying their odds. They're 5-0 up against Wolves.
Someone put up the link for a working stream ffs. The soap dodgers will be all over this if we don't win.
Ruddy; Martin (c), Cuellar, Turner, Olsson; O'Neil, Tettey, Johnson; Howson; Grabban, Jerome. Rudd (GK), Whittaker, Lafferty, Hooper, Hooiveld, Josh Murphy, Redmond. I make that 4 changes? Diamond midfield?
Looks like the diamond to me, DH. They just called it a 4-3-1-2 on Radio Norfolk. As for streams, 23, try wiziwig or feed2all.
The truth is that when we play out wide (IMO) we are completely ineffectual. I think this line up utilises our best players, let's hope it works!
Assombalonga and Antonio both start for Forest, as does Matty Fryatt - who some moron had written off as injured. Ex-canary Henri Lansbury on the bench.
Looks like the stream could be here... http://www.wiz1.net/channel29 Will know closer to game time if that's the right stream. As for the starting lineup, definitely looks like a diamond formation as we have no wingers in the starting 11.
I hope it's that kind of set-up, and not 4-5-1 with O'Neil and Grabban as a wide midfielders! It looks pretty reasonable to me. Martin finally moves to right back, although neither of our CB's are the quickest, which could cause difficulties. In midfield we've got plenty of defensive nous which makes sense for an away game, and hopefully we'll see plenty of interchange with the DMs able to commit forward if they want, as there should be enough cover. Lack of width could be an issue, particularly with the likes of Tom Ince in the Forest line-up.
Looks promising http://www.stream2watch.me/soccer/nottingham-forest-vs-norwich-city-live-stream Stream 2 works 4 3 2 1 set up
