I should think Liverpool have learnt their lesson...you can't pick piecemeal at Saints and hope to be Saints.

 

I wish Arsenal would get shot of their scout who works the Hampshire area although I think that could be the great man himself.

It would cause a crisis meeting at the Emirates if Saints told Arsenal they will not be signing any more of our youngsters.

Draw preferably, but if I had to choose someone to win it would be Liverpool.

 

Interesting, if I was pushed, I would go for Draw or Chelsea.

I think my dislike of Rodgers continually focusing on Summer upheaval for them is growing boring and the reality that we are unlikely to be contenders for the title come the end of the season rules it.
In fact I think the only title contenders are Chelsea!

 

I want a big Chelsea win to extend the points gap between us and Liverpool.

If we are to do something really special this season then we will need to finish above Liverpool.

We will not finish above Chelsea.

 

Torn between Chelsea and Liverpool. Realistically we have a better chance of finishing above Liverpool than Chelsea, so I should go for a Chelsea win, but I would like just for one week or even one day to be top of the league.

Certainly won't if they keep on winning. Draw please, for the cause of the wasted point. Second result, a win for Liverpool, to close further in on Chelsea. We win, and Liverpool get no closer.

Far more logical and positive.

 

The only thing we can control is how we play...we have second place as long as we keep winning. Want the teams behind us to lose points and give us a gap to accommodate dropped points for us.

 

Which would then take Chelsea to play WBA at home (we could lend them a bus to help them to a 0-0), leaving Saints live on TV on the Monday against Villa for a win to go.... Top

Can I just ask is it ok for me to want Liverpool to lose this or will it affect our European hopes? I have lost track of what we need to happen

 

Unless we finish above l'pool I think it works out better if they go through. But I want them to lose so bad.
