Don't take this personally, but you are a 'camel spunk swallowing hamster humper'.

Just delivering a message from a Mackem who wishes to remain banned! I'd never say that kind of thing about you myself. Especially not in tags. <ok>;)

that's terrible. Ban the fecker!... oh wait....

Actually that's quite a compliment as it shows I have a multi cultural, cross continental degree of perversion.

    Reesult.

Off thread, but how do you stop that gateway 502 error? (In English please).

This is one of the few threads I can open.

Just hit the green button in the top right of your screen saying something like 'find live version'

    It works for me eventually

Doesn't work for me I'm afraid. I can't open a thread that I haven't seen before, only ones I've posted on.

Just to confirm, all bans now lifted.
Billy has asked that his ban remain, along with his 'lad'. This has been agreed.

Right, having looked through the posts on the equivalent Sunderland thread, I think it's worth bearing a few points in mind lads (and lasses, if we still have any).

There's still a few (12 at last count) not keen at all on the bans having been lifted. In particular, references to BEEL / BEELING and any misuse of TAGS won't be tolerated over there.

So, bans are lifted, yes. BUT, if you want to stay in the game then I suggest you avoid the above references, or you'll be facing the ban hammer.

Of course, I'm sure some will still go for it anyway just for the laugh, but just so long as you know you'll be back in the clink if you do. <ok>

    Let the banter begin...

    Eh?
Words like Beel or beelin aren't offensive at all and are well within site rules surely?
It looks like one particular mod over there is making some of the rules up as he goes along for some bizarre reason. I'd imagine Billy is still allowed to abuse people over there breaking forum rules with no repercussions?
So what words are our mods going to ban Mackems for if all of a sudden non offensive ones get a ban now?
I'd like to propose '3-0' get's an instant ban as will any tedious gifs they want to put up.

Not my rules fella. And I have no idea why using 'beel' or tags causes such sensitivities - especially compared to other things I've seen posted. But all I'm saying is a sure fire way to fast track a new ban from the Mackem board will be to go down that route. <ok>

We should ban people for using the word banned.
Or ban the word 'pterodactyl' as it reminds me of Neil Warnock.

Can we make a new word instead of beeling?

    Buttnippin? Pleasantly homoerotic <ok>

Geldin'? For the irony when they get testy?

Cuddlehumping? We all have that one friend that turns a friendly cuddle into unnecessary sexual groping. If you can't think of that friend, it's because you haven't met me in person yet.

I think one of the funniest comparisons I've seen for Warnock was Zelda from the Terrahawks.

<laugh> do you not at least start with a bit of cuddlegroping to test the waters? Or do you go straight for the humping?

It's not the words that are offensive, it is when they are used on every post in order to derail a thread that has been the problem in the past...

At the end of the day it's their board so it's their rules. It's full of mackems so you've got to expect a little bit of weirdness. When they come on here you can give them both barrels of the beel gun, but over there we all need to decide how much we want banter and how much we want to wind them up and get banned. I prefer to take the Yohan Cabaye approach to banter - he always did his nastiest tackles with a smile on his face and didn't pick up as many reds as he should have because of it.
