Glen Johnson! Its an epidemic. Johnson fever; Symptoms include, thinking Glen Johnson is a good footballer, has ever been a good footballer, can defend, is actually a right back and selecting him for teams. Surely Gerrard has played with better RB's than GJ?

Yeah, Johnson's inclusion immediately stood out for me. I'd pick Arbeloa or Finnan. Can't make my mind up which... Arbs was more mobile and translated better up the pitch- Finnan was a rock defensively. Johnson actually wasn't too bad when he first joined us- at his peak with us, he's probably the third best RB we've had during Gerrard's stay with us.
Could Fowler, Suarez and Torres fit together in a team as a front three? Fowler and Torres would want to be the central pin of the three. I think I'd move Fowler back as a sub and play Mash instead- that would liberate Gerrard to play further forward as well!
