    Ipswich Town - Watford

    Ipswich Town

Goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski will continue to deputise for Dean Gerken who is recovering from a groin injury.
Midfielder Luke Hyam is suspended after collecting his fifth booking of the season and sits out a one-game ban.

    Watford

Defender Sebastien Bassong and midfielder Gianni Munari will face late fitness tests on their respective calf and groin problems.
Almen Abdi (shoulder) and Gabriele Angella (ankle) remain sidelined.

    Match facts

    Head-to-Head

    • The Hornets won the last meeting 3-1 at Vicarage Road in April.
    • Ipswich have won only one of the last 19 meetings in all competitions. Their only win since 2004 was 1-0 at Vicarage Road in the Championship in August 2012.
    • Watford are unbeaten in the last nine meetings at Portman Road, winning six. Ipswich's last win at home was 4-1 in the old Division One in March 2004.

    Ipswich Town

    • Town have lost only one of their last 12 games. Their only defeat since 23 August was 3-1 at Cardiff on 21 October.
    • They have won five of their eight home games this season, drawing two and losing one. Their only defeat at Portman Road was 1-0 against Norwich on 23 August.

    Watford

    • Slavisa Jokanovic's side lost 2-1 at Birmingham on Tuesday - their first defeat in 10 games.
    • They have won only one of their last four away games, drawing two and losing one. Their only win on the road since mid-September was 3-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on 18 October.

Funny is Ipswich Town keeper Bartosz Bialkowski believes his side boast the Championship's best strike partnership in Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick.

All is stolen from your BBC.

So can we make it one defeat in 20!

They must hate us for being so dominating against them - and playing in yellow like Norwich.

I remember going to Portman Road when Boothroyd was manager when we won 2-1.

They were not happy - even the more mature supporters were giving a few verbal's out after the game!

Mind you Ellington did actually score...

    As for tomorrow.

    I'd go for a 1-1.

Surely Pudli,Andrews and Vydra have got to come back in.

Maybe Bassong and Munari if fit.

I think it will be two from two for us, Ipswich have a long enough poor run against us and the law of averages say they must get something sooner than later. After the Birmingham debacle we need to get a win though.

Quote from SJ "If people believed we would win win all the games after I arrived here, it is impossible"

thanks for the great thread Ak :).

I hate to say i have never seen us lose there, so i'm hoping i haven't jinxed it and won't be seeing us lose tomorrow either! Birmingham was so depressing, so very much like Bristol City 2 seasons ago, i'm hoping our new, and up and til Tuesday, impressive head coach will get us back to winning ways...i'm going for a 3-1, coz it seems like an obvious choice to me! ;)

That looks like a much stronger line-up.

Just hope Ipswich don't target Paredes though....

The first time that Troy Deeney, Matej Vydra and Fernando Forestieri have ever all started a league game together? Is that right?
