    So according to Twitter, Kit confirmed a Chief Officer of Football will be recruited in his press conference today. I assume it's another name for a Director of Football.

    Not entirely sure but I think Kit also said the appointment would be "from within the Club". That's Huw Jenkins then ... presumably!

    Probs yes. Director is a less senior term in american business than over here.
