Wouldn't disagree with that team to be honest. Toure is a tricky one as he played very well start of last year, and very well against Madrid, but for large periods last year he was poor. His passing was poor and composure was gone. Stick Sturridge up top with Sterling and Lallana supporting him and I think it's good enough to be challenging for 4th place.

Do you lot not think you're overrating Sturridge just a bit here? For me there's already a tell tale sign of how Sturridge may perform for Liverpool now. England performances. To put it simply, Sturridge without Suarez = Sturridge for England in the last year
And you're forgetting that we've seen Studge without Suarez already. We know he's not a world superstar, we know he;s not Suarez, Messi or C.Ronaldo. Therefore we know he's not the saviour. However, we also know he fits our style superbly, he's capable of scoring goals and he believes in the ethos of the team. Basically, we know he fits and we know the other forwards at the club are struggling. He WILL make a difference to us.
To be fair, Sturridge has been one of England's better performers recently (when not injured), not that that's a great accolade. We know he can score goals in our team and has good link-up with the likes of Sterling and Coutinho. He also has movement to create space for the others and does his share of the hard work. Not a saviour by any means, but hopefully someone who can breathe some life into our currently moribund attack.
You have only really seen Sturridge perform with Suarez, yes i know he played the first 5 games without him last season but, for any consistant length of time.

He played well at Man City despite them being **** at the time but wasn't getting a chance hence him moving, plus he was very young. He never got a chance at Chelsea because they preferred player a name over a player. Also, no mention of Bolton And this coming from someone that isn't a big fan of Studge. I didn't want us to sign him because he has velcro on his boots and that aspect of his game as yet to change. And the first three games this season. How many games does he need to prove he can still perform without Luis?
yup.... sturridge can play quite well without suarez providing 10 assists. suarez has not played every game sturrdige has so..... sorry but that crap doesn't add up especially seeing chelsea used him on right side of a three behind a drogba etc.
