    I suppose give any team enough money, and they will get some success, but thats no good if theres none for the following year.

    <laugh> You're absolutely right. He just said himself (well, recorded previously) exactly what you said, including that the second 'i' is silent. How can you have a silent vowel? 'Vowel' means 'voiced'.

    So its pronounced Ricardo then so the C and I in his surname are pointless. damn aussies!

    It's pronounced 'Ricc'ardo'. Needs to spelled that way, too.
